This is a wonderful little hotel. The rooms are really comfortable and warm in the winter. The views are amazing. The decorations feel both chic and comfortable. Law tar took especially good care of us and fixed us a very nice breakfast. This charming little place was a delight!

Beautiful stay at Dar Zerhoune. The terrace has sweeping views, stayed up there for hours watching the sunset, listening to the sounds of the town below, sipping mint tea. Very pleasantly surprised when we went to our rooms which were heated and cosy then jumped into a bed with an electric blanket! Bliss. Delicious breakfast on the rooftop next morning... More

Rose happened to be a friend of the person we were staying with in Fes. Within 24 hours she had organised an excellent visit to Volubillis with a local guide and taxi driver from railway station at very preferential rates! We also chose to visit and eat at Dar Zerhoune. . . great meal and a very enjoyable time had... More

We were just passing by Moulay Idriss after having visited Volubilis. We had lunch there and were blown away. Everything was made fresh from scratch. The portions were generous and the service was incredibly friendly. Definitely order the "menu" for 150 dh. The appetizers and desert make it well worth it.

I spent a weekend with friends at the lovingly restored Dar Zerhoun. What a wonderful experience that was! Rose and her team make you feel at home immediately. After having coffee/tea/cookies and exquisite soups for lunch on the sunny terrace roof with a stunning view over the valley, we drove further up the mountain to the Zerhoun forest. Enchanting! Honestly... More

Absolutely spectacular experience! Staying at Dar Zerhoune was certainly one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco. It was so nice to meet Rose and spend some time chatting with her! I felt right at home from the minute I walked in the door. Moulay Idriss is a great city to visit, quite different from the experience of larger... More

I had read the reviews and what positive feedback lead me to booking at Dar zerhoune but what I found was a guest house I could call home. The tranquility of the house mixed with the gracious hospitality was a comfort for myself as a traveller. Rose is such a complete host it felt as if you have known her... More

We arrived in Moulay Idriss with no where booked. We happened to knock on the door of Dar Zerhoune and once inside we knew we wouldn't be looking anywhere else to stay. The Riad itself is beautiful, the rooms lovingly restored and decorated and the owner - Rose - couldn't be more caring about her guests if she tried. She... More

My wife and I had the luck to come across Dar Zerhoune when we organized our "honeymoon taster" to Morocco last month and echoes of the "hostess with the most" Rose were already heard in Fes amongst the locals. No doubt in saying that Rose is wonderfully integrated in the community and a true traveller. Her baby Dar Zerhoune is... More

We spent three nights at Rose's lovely dar along with another couple of friends last month. This accommodation is highly recommended. Lots of lovely chill-out areas ... though we spent most of our time on the glorious terrace with stunning views towards Volubilis and the town of Moulay Idriss. Rose is a born host and a wonderful cook as well.... More
