I spent a magical weekend at Dar Zerhoune. The staff, sleeping arrangements, food, views, and atmosphere were top quality. It is very serene to sit on the terrace and take in the views of Volibilis in the distance. I also had a lovely swim in the roman baths which were walking distance. My only regret is that I did not... More

Super house, fabulous food, kind and gracious service from lovely staff all at really reasonable prices. Especially good value for solo travellers as the owner charges per person. The rooms are beautiful, simply decorated with all you need for a relaxing stay. Wonderful roof terrace with a panoramic view of Moulay Idris and Volubilis in the distance. Meals are served... More

Our family of four stayed here for one night after visiting Volibilis. We were very comfortable and well-cared for by Hejiba, who cooked an amazing meal of three different tagines, salads, and dessert! She even made ginger lemon tea for my son who had a cough. Everything in the guest house is clean and comfortable, fairly basic but with charm,... More

This is the best little "riad" hotel in Moulay Idriss. Super-friendly and efficient, clean and simple, warm and well-equipped. We had a great dinner on the roof terrace overlooking the lights of the city. And an even better breakfast with freshly baked breads, local white cheese, eggs cooked in a tagine... Highly recommend for anyone visiting Volubilis or Moulay Idriss,... More

We had a lovely one night stay at Dar Zerhoune. It's a fairly basic guesthouse, but all of the little touches come together to make the overall experience excellent. We had a small room overlooking the central courtyard. The locking mechanism on the door to our room was broken (both on the outside and the inside) meaning we couldn't secure... More

I stayed at Dar Zerhoune for one night with my young daughters. The Dar has a lovely rustic charm and is super cosy - located in the median but close to parking. Our beds were really comfy and the room quiet - even though the house was full. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and served on the terrace with beautiful... More

We were recommended to this hotel by an article in The Guardian and it lived up to all our expectations. Rose, the owner of the guest house gave my wife and I the most genuinely friendly welcome. The rooms were clean, the bed just right and the breakfast on the terrace a delight. Our luggage was charmingly and efficiently managed... More

Traveling can get hectic in Morocco, and Rose and the Dar Zerhoune staff are a breath of fresh air when my husband and I get to Moulay Idriss. The riad is classy and has everything you need - but with enough character to make it feel comfortable and homey. Up on the terrace, incredible, delicious, and authentic food is served... More

This was my 2nd stay at Dar Zerhoune. My husband and I live in Fez and visited last December. It was a great experience then and even better this time with warmer tempertures and glorious sunny skies. Two friends from America came to visit Fez (and me). We organized an excursion trip from Fez to the small, charming town of... More

Our riad in Fes organized for us to have lunch here whilst on a day tour of the area. It was Eid al Adha and we wanted to get out of Fes for the day and this was a great option. The New Zealand born owner prepared a delicious lunch for us on the terrace with spectacular views - the... More
