I've been last May with my boyfriend, it was my first time visiting zerhoun and volubilis area. If you're a nature lover, you're going to admire the place, especially when you can enjoy the view while having lunch or drinking tea from dar Zerhoune's terrace. Rose the hostess and the girls helping her were amazing, they're very friendly and professional.... More

We started our three week trip in Morocco in Moulay Idriss and stayed three days in Dar Zerhoun. It was a great way to get to know Morocco. Rose arranged our taxitrip from Fes airport. When we arrived dinner was ready for us. We immediately were thought that it might turn out to be the best meal of our trip.... More

Unfortunately we'd already booked accommodation in Fez before we heard of Rose and Dar Zerhoune, so we only went for lunch, but the four of us were delighted in the food prepared by Hadija and the surroundings, together with Rose's great hosting. Moulay Idriss was stunning also the thermal baths down the road. Dar Zerhoune's terrace was a perfect place... More

It was a "best day ever"...started with a delicious breakfast then a fabulous walk through the medina, cemetery and a dirt road in the ancient olive trees to Volubilis (which is a don't miss in Morocco). When it got too hot, we headed to Dar Zerhoune for a roof terrace lunch (some of the best food we had in Morocco),... More

My stay at Dar Zerhoune was extraordinary...it was the highlight of my trip to Morocco. The owner, Rose, and her wonderful staff (Haljiba, Fatima Zahra, Kauta, Fazah) really take care of you and make you feel at home. It was wonderful getting to spend time with them. The dar is so comfortable and beautiful, and there's an amazing terrace and... More

Dar Zerhoune was the PERFECT place to escape for a weekend! Rose, Hajiba, and everyone at the Dar are the absolute greatest. Every meal we ate was delicious--not to mention, from Dar Zerhoune's radiant rooftop! I stuffed myself every meal. It was fabulous. The sunset we experienced as we sipped tea and ate kaskrut (traditional Moroccan snack meal) was one... More

Great location to explore Volubilis - you can walk there and back, much better than rushing on a day trip from Fes and Meknes. And then you can explore the small town of Moulay, a pilgrim's day which doesn't have the tourist hassle of the larger Moroccan cities. The Dar is centrally located, the breakfasts on the terrace are fabulous,... More

Rose is a very welcoming and knowledgeable hostess. We had a lovely stay here in her charming guest house. The terrace has amazing views and is also a restaurant open to the public as well as the guests. Great dining venue. Breakfast was very nice and l was made a bowl of Bissara the local fava bean soup specially when... More

A very kind Morroccan lady took care of us. Beautiful and very cosy little hotel with traditional ambiance and Moroccan decoration. You can reach this hotels via some narrow little streets from the main square. There are some extra heating devices in the room if needed, so cold is not an issue even during winter. The beds are very comfortable.... More

Rose and her staff could not have been more helpful - from advice on hikes, preparing delicious breakfasts and evening meals, and even giving us medicinal teas to help our colds. The terrace had wonderful views as well as being a good vantage point to see several species of birds. The Roman ruin of Volubilis which we walked to (about... More
