Business hotel catering to people who cant find another place to stay in this god forsaken city. Here they really give you the bizness. 10 bucks to use the pool. Another 10 to use the gym. There is an executive level lounge door. Inside is storage for the hotel. Gee.. I guess my Ramada executive privileges don't work here.No washcloths... More

No wireless in rooms? Really? That was a bit of a downer. Also bed was like a box spring only, very hard. Room was modern though, and clean. Breakfast buffet had a lot if choices. Good service though, friendly staff.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days during a business trip. A good hotel , clean room , good view of the city skyline and a shopping complex with restaurants at it's basement. Staffs were cordial and able to speak average English. Top floors give a good view of the city. Guests can choose hotel restaurants, basement food plaza or... More

When I checked in at about 8 p.m. local time, the first thing I noticed was the size of the hotel and the emptiness within. The hotel was like a giant in a province of low-rise buildings. And, it was conspicuously empty. The huge lobby did not help to emphasize the lack of guests. There was a Duty Free Shop... More

There is nothing redeeming about this hotel. Took them 45 minutes to find our reservation even with a confirmation number. Staff had no recommendations on local attractions or any idea of how to get around via public transportation. OVERPRICED, unclean, stains on bedding and carpet, poor service, non smoking room smells like cigarette smoke, air conditioning did not work, no... More

This hotel has a very friendly staff but is not according to my expectations. Todays standard for business hotels is that WIFI is existent in the room, but at this hotel only a cable LAN is supplied. Their add says that there is a mini bar in the room but reality is that the minibar is empty. I assume that... More

I gave two stars because anyway it is the best choice here in Cheong-ju. I do not want to repeat what you could already find in other reviews, but I leave some remarks. The room looks quite old and in mine the hot water of the shower was not working. I had a short stay and so they did not... More

Ramada Plaze Cheongju Hotel -- a very large hotel, nice rooms. It has a Walmart-like department store in the basement, a small duty-free shop. Hot water maker in the room; WIFI available in lobby only. I believe the elevator doors are decorated with copies of the first Korean movable typeset of Buddhist writings and it was ahead of the Gutenberg... More
