Hotel Dömitzer Hafen is a nicely renovated harbour storehouse located in Dömitz, where the railway line Hamburg-Berlin once crossed the Elbe River. Location is good, not far from the town centre and still in a quiet area. The Elbe railway bridge was destroyed in April 1945 and never rebuild. It became a sad symbol of the German partition.
