We stayed here for a night on the way to Italy, wanted to stay overnight in Switzerland but too expensive and this isn't far from the border. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, it was hot and had to have windows open which then gives you the problem of noise. Hotel is in a great location, good to have a... More

My wife and I attended a wedding in Lorrach recently. The couple booked us into this hotel which is very central and close to the main square in Lorrach. We stayed for 3 nights. It was a very pleasant stay though it was during a heatwave and there is no air-conditioning. The staff are friendly and very efficient and managed... More

On our way back from North Italië we decided (because of black Saturday on the highways) to have a stop over. We choose for Hotel Meyerhof in Lorrach who was qua timing nearly the middle of the trip. The hotel is located just next to the auto free zone or shopping zone of Lorrach (you can do some advantages comparing... More

On our way back to the north we decided to book the first hotel in Germany due to ridiculous prices of hotels in Switzerland. And Meyerhof was not a bad choice. It was for one night only and that was enough. Our room (for four persons) was huge. No other word. But it just didn't fit. Something was not in... More

The hotel itself is clean, and centrally located. However, after a 100k bike ride in 35*c heat, you need a relatively early night - 10pm is certainly considered early to most. Unfortunately, the back rooms back onto two Greek restaurants, of whom the hotel seems to have no awareness of, nor them of the hotel. The noise coming up from... More

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Meyerhof. We had two rooms, my daughter and her children had a "family" room which was really spacious and gave lots of options for sleeping. Both our rooms were clean and well cared for, breakfast was traditional Germany and we thoroughly enjoyed it before setting out for our sight seeing. Train into Basil was... More

Good hotel in the centre of Lorrach. Secure underground parking. Large room with Fridge. It is an old building but rooms are clean. Large bathroom. No in room coffee or tea service. Very helpful reception staff.

I used to consider this to be the nicest, friendliest hotel in Lorrach. Unfortunately, after spending approx EUR3000 here in the last 8 months over multiple stays, the owner, Claudia Lianou, whom I've actually never met in person, has managed to ruin all the good work of her colleagues through a single rude, ill-considered and frankly offensive piece of customer... The hotel is conveniently located near the pedestrianised area of the town. It is quite informal and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had was very spacious and, although facing on to the road was quiet enough. There is parking available beneath the hotel. The breakfast, which was included in our booking, was a simple... We stayed here in September 1011 en route to the Italian Lakes. The hotel is very clean with nice friendly staff, there is no air conditioning but there was a large fan in the room. Parking within the hotels car park was convenient and secure. Highly recommended.
