Guests are driven to the the Yasmina Hotel by 4-wheel drive vehicle. It is located at the edge of sand dunes. It consists of traditional mud buildings. The rooms are simple but charming because they are decorated in true Berber style. Everybody was very friendly. We had dinner and breakfast on the open patio overlooking the dunes. Delicious traditional food... More

The first thing you see while driving to to Yasmina hotel are the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Once at the hotel, the staffwas friendly and accommodating. Enjoy a cool beverage or a mint tea on the back dining area that over looks the sand dunes. The rooms were small but who needs to stay in your room when you... More

We recently completed a 12 day family tour of Morocco and Erg Chebbi was clearly one of the family favorites. Yasmina was set right on top of the dunes where my son and I could walk out at midnight and reach a place clear of all the lights for a classic Sahara night sky which is more fantastic than you... Set on the edge of the desert dunes, this hotel provides the perfect launching place for a dune 4wd excursion or camel ride to camp. The pool is great and the breakfast terrace offers a delightful vista to enjoy the early morning light on the dunes.

Our party of 5 stayed here in April. It is a little oasis! The rooms basic but clean, great swimming pool and lounges to lazy in. Food delicious for breakfast and dinner and staff very obliging. It is the only hotel on the edge of the dunes. You can walk right out the htoel door, down a few steps and... More

No other hotel in Merzouga is this close to Erg Chebbi dunes, and you can easily walk right out onto the sand to watch the sun rise in the morning (highly recommended!). Rooms are simple but large and comfortable, the staff helpful, and the food good. Unfortunately, we arrived in the midst of a sandstorm and also a huge vehicle... More

During high season, this is a busy high character place to stay near the sahara. The rooms are huge with outdoor space connected to every room. There's a nice pool and great space with places to sit with a view of the Sahara. The food was plentiful and good. We enjoyed it.

We spent 2 nights here, having decided to walk on the sand dunes rather than perch on a camel and spend the night in a tent. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. The electricity supply seemed a bit unpredictable so bring a torch. My husband had a swim in the large pool and... More

We did not sleep here, but left our baggage for the night before going into the dunes to camp. We wished we had stayed an extra day to enjoy this hotel and the pool. It was very quiet in mid-March and would have been lovely.

We used Hotel Yasmina as a base while staying in the desert. The hotel is located about 15km off the paved highway. The access is rough in parts but solid and safe. It is suitable for 2-wheel drive cars and vans. There are no clear road signs that identify the hotel and care should be taken not to bypass it.... More
