My girlfriend and i arrived about 40 mins before our check-in time and we had been sitting in our car for about 5 mins when Caroline arrived home, she came over and greeted us with a lovely smile, saying it was fine to check in early which was kind of her.Caroline then showed us the sitting room and dining room area and... My wife and I have just finished a most enjoyable and relaxing weeks stay at the Durdans. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our lovely hostess, Caroline and made to feel so much at home by the extremely comfortable accommodation, the beautifully presented amenities of the gorgeous stately home and the spacious grounds. Andrew, our host,... More

Andrew and Caroline are some of the best hosts I have come accross, they run a friendly B & B,cook a great breakfast, and are helpful in the extreme. The bed in our room (Lilac) was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, and if you are looking for peace and quiet this is it.Unfortunately the decor in... More

I requested a quiet room via online booking but despite that was located at the front of the building just over the main entrance. I was kept awake by noisy guests slamming car doors, walking on crunchy gravel and by an adjoining garden's noisy fountain pond pump. Also the shower cubicle had mould growing in it. The bathroom fan was... More

Sandy & I recently travelled back to the UK for a holiday & decided to visit Norfolk as our first stop after arriving at Heathrow. We really didn't know where to go or where to stay, so we relied entirely upon Trip Advisor. The Durdans at Mundesley came highly recommended. This was one of the best finds of the holiday.... More

We were greeted by Andrew who show us to our room (The Clocks) such a lovely room light and bright and plenty of room for storage. Every day there were chocolates and biscuits in our room when we returned. Bed linen and towels were changed too, something not all places do We stayed there for 7 nights early September not... More

What a lovely weekend we had staying here. A large and spacious house in a quiet location with good sized bedroom (we were in Clocks) and very comfortable beds and bedding. Towels were white and fluffy. We ordered our breakfast the night before at a time to suit, and enjoyed chatting to other guests in the dining room overlooking the... More

Very nice stay here. Breakfast pleasant. Some little extras in the rooms. Room overlooking the driveway. There was no where to put our bikes out of the rain but they were safe enough locked up against a tree. Would have been nice to have some fresh milk available for cups of tea. The house itself was wonderful but a short... More

We stayed at this great B&B for two nights and felt most at home. Caroline & Andrew (the owners) are really lovely, friendly people who made our stay very comfortable and memorable. The breakfasts were excellent - locally sourced, well cooked and well presented. The house is set in lovely grounds in a quiet area and has 7 en-suite rooms... More
