I accidently found this hotel when doing research in Strausberg for a book. It is fabulous. The pool is huge, the masseuse's "lift" took 20 years off my face(which needed it!)
I mostly loved the room in the tower lined with books. I would go there to write and read. (I hope the books are still there since their renovation). Friendly service. I was the first American many people there had met (it's located in the former East Germany) and they had many questions about my country and were patient with my German. Enjoy a calm pleasant time and hopefully they will have plays and concerts scheduled for the castle's interior amphatheater when you are there. Highly recommend!! more
