Several years ago my wife and I bought a Smithsonian magazine at a garage sale for 25 cents. In it was an article about the Fenestrelle Foprtress. It looked so amazing that we decided we definitely had to visit. So we did and we stayed at the Belvedere. Turns out Kent was the contact for the museum on the article.... More

My father and I wanted to see the Fenestrelle Fortress, and found this B&B online. It looked nice, so we contacted them. From the very first contact, they were extremely helpful in organizing, not only our stay with them, but also a guided trip to the fortress. They even helped us understand the Italian bus system. When we arrived at... More

I arrived with my family with no expectations and left with the overwhelming feeling that we had made friends for life. Kent, Michelle, George and even their dog, Brownie made me feel right at home. Lovely antiques filled the bedrooms. The Breakfasts were excellent and homemade by Michelle. Gracious hosts. They went beyond being just a B&B, but helped me... More

We had seen the story on Fenstrelle Fortress in Smithsonian magazine. After deciding we needed to go, we needed a place to stay. The Belevedere B&B completed an amazing experience. Kent, Michele, and George were delightful gracious, and knowledgeable hosts. It turns out most of the info in the article came from Kent. He also serves as an English speaking... More

We have just returned from a wonderful winter holiday with Kent and Michelle at the Belvedere B&B. The holiday consisted of snow-shoe walking and one day's cross country skiing. We received fantastic guidance and instruction every day, and each walk was as varied and difficult as we wanted. Every day was carefully worked out by Kent and Michelle and tailor-made... More

It's a wonderfully secluded small town. We were the only Americans in the entire area! Kent and Michelle were excellent, gracious hosts. Great conversation and hospitality. The view from Fenestrelle Fortress, just down the road, was spectacular. World class cycling. If you want to experience a not-so-touristy area, this is absolutely the place!

Found Belvedere when we were wanting to see Fenestrelle -- and couldn't have picked a more perfect place! The B&B is warm and inviting, and Kent, Michelle and their son George are wonderful hosts. Our room was large and comfortable, with a terrific en suite bathroom -- great shower! Also wonderful balcony, with an incredible view of the fortress as... More
