I have been staying at Bananarama Dive for the past 4 years and it gets better every time I return. The new owners continue to add amenities to make this resort attractive to every one. With the most recent addition of the Island Pearl to the Bananarama properties those of us that are looking for a quiet respite on one... more

Our children are 4, 10, and 15, and I was left with the difficult task of finding somewhere that would satisfy them and the picky Husband. I started my research 3 months before our trip so I could narrow down what part of the island to stay, and then where. Yes, we were only staying 2 days, but they were... more

This was our 2nd trip to Bananarama because we loved it. It has all the amenities we wanted. Great beach, beach bar, food and entertainment a couple nights a week. The dive shop is very professional and easy and fun to dive with. My boyfriend was certified last year and his teenage daughter this year with one on one training.... more

I travelled to Roatan for my birthday because the place I was planning to go in Mexico was hit by a hurricane. I rescheduled my trip at the last minute and ended up in Roatan. Oh my! I loved staying at Bananarama. My little cabana was perfect, so safe, clean and comfortable. I felt like it was home after just... more

Recently our family was involved in a very trying time in Roatan. The owner/ operators of the Bananarama, Guy, Tina & Phil as well as their entire staff, provided us with a safe, secure sancturary, for ourselves and our family. I cannot say enough about the kindness and the extra effort this resort accorded us. For those of you who... more

We were there on a cruise, our tour guide took us to Bananarama to snorkel, have lunch and a few drinks. We were leaving in the last of approx 60 or so people at the beach when the "manager" gave my tour guide a hard time saying we using his showers to rinse off and we had not spent a... more

What else can I say that other reviews haven’t? The best vacation yet thanks to the owners and staff of Bananarama and of course the great people of Roatan. After two cruises through the Caribbean and land vacations in Turks & Caicos, Aruba and Barbados we have found the perfect island for the two of us. Provo in T &... more

I just returned from my 3rd stay at Banarama and as before it did not disappoint. As other reviews have mentioned it is a relaxed, simple and economical place to stay. The rooms are clean and respectable. The suites have mini kitchens for use with a full size fridge. Generally, I take a walk up the road to the store... more

My wife and I chose Bananarama because we wanted to be on West Bay - the nicest beach area in Roatan- and we wanted a nice place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. This was the perfect place for us. The friendly staff met our needs and set us up with a great clean room with cable and we... more
