Stayed 5 weeks in the upper Roundhouse suite and loved it! Leslie was so quick and open in answering all my questions that I had a good feeling about the place even before I came, and the driveway winding down through the jungle just raised my anticipation. And I was not disappointed! Huge shaded deck with large table, chairs and... more

Please, please, PLEASE do not waste your money. I am a traveler who can stay anywhere, but for the amount of money this place demands, it's absurd. Mr. Foster is a nice man and I wish I could support him, but sadly cannot. If you want to get way to a littered beach, moldy hammocks, overpriced food and drunk Americans,... more

Who stays in their room with the beach, literally, right outside the door? While the room was a bit "spartan," it was more than adequate. Big bed. Fridge. Bottled water. Large bathroom with a big walk in shower. Plenty of storage and a measure of privacy. Foster Diaz and his entire staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. The restaurant was... more

(I'd have given Foster's a 4.5 rating if I could, but since I can't, a 4 will have to suffice) My wife and I took our honeymoon to Roatan and we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful EVERYTHING was! The room (Sky Cabana #4) was charming, with ample space for two people - a king-size bed, mini-fridge, coffee pot, and... more

My soon-to-be husband and I were looking for a place to spend our honeymoon on Roatan. We knew we wanted to hang out at the West End/West Bay area but we wanted something, somewhere unique. We thought we had found it when we ran across the treehouse at Foster's but boy we were in for a rude awakening. As we... more

My wife and I were looking for a long-term option and after researching everyone else on West Bay Beach we chose Fosters. We ended up staying over 2 months. While others wanted to charge an exhorbatent amount for a long term stay, Fosters gave us a great rate, along with restaurant discount, and we felt comfortable from the very begining.... more

We stayed in the tree house for 3 nights and it was fab. Great view from the crows nest, private toilet and shower on the deck, good food in the restaurant and dive school attached, which you get a discount for staying at Fosters. Bit scary when the wind blows but all part of the fun and excitment of being... more

Looking forward to going back the last of August for another two week stay Yes. the sand flies are terrible and I... more

I really enjoyed all parts of my stay at Fosters. The Mango TreeHouse is a lot of fun to stay in... complete w/ toilet, outdoor shower, sink, etc. People were friendly, nice location, and fun experience! Just watch out for the sand fleas on the beach... more

First of all, I researched this hotel and Island for a while before deciding on coming to Roatan. My wife and I wanted a nice, relatively inexpensive vacation with snorkling, sun, beach and heat. We got all of that at Fosters. The bugs: You hear the horror stories of bugs, mosquitos and sand flies. Yes, they have bugs. However, they... more
