My friend Lindsay and I were looking for an affordable place with a little bit of character in West Bay...which is really hard to find. The moment we walked into West Bay B & B and met Glen, the owner, we knew we had found our place. Glen is such an amazing and welcoming person. He has traveled all over... more

After being shepherded all over Roatan by taxi drivers more eager to collect a commission on us than to find us a good place to stay, we met some cute girls--the first good sign--who enthusiastically recommended West Bay B&B as the best place to stay on the island, certainly in West Bay. They said we wouldn't find a better deal... more

I stayed at the West Bay B&B last summer and when I decided to return to Roatan this year I knew that I would definitely stay at the West Bay B&B again. The B&B is new, clean, and less than a minute's walk to the beach in West Bay -- by far the nicest beach on the island. The owner,... more

Many thanks to the owner, Glen, for the great week we passed there. Rooms are with fridge, a/c, tv - even if no cable on tv, there are plenty of DVD's you can borrow! All is clean and cozy. Breakfast: Glen prepares it very well, and every day a different one! Also you can see his passion/art on the walls... more

Stayed here for the second leg of our honeymoon and truly enjoyed it. Glen was a great host. His place is very clean. There was a fidge in our room that came in handy and the AC worked great. while there be sure to ask about Glen's travels. more

My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved it! Owner: Glen, the owner, was really great. He's friendly, informative, and a great cook! It's a small place, so he basically is your cook, maid, and island activities director. The breakfast is included, and Glen has beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel equipment, beach towels, DVDs, an internet cafe,... more

This relatively new inn is a block in from the beach, situated on a hill facing down toward the sea. The owner and host, Glen, has built a nice facility--clean rooms (ours had a nice tile bathroom with ample hot water) with a comfy bed, AC and a balcony, and a large common room that functions as dining room and... more

On a Beach Walk along the shore for approx. 30-40 minutes from West END- to find the Great Beach Area in West BAY- we discovered that there were the costly Hotels/Resorts/Dive places along the Beach. BUT venturing only 1 block up from the beach through a pathway and looking up there was a sign at "Glen's WEST BAY B&B "... more

West Bay's best lodging for the price. Easy access to the best beach on the island. Beach has many good restaurants and dive shops. Mini-mart / luncheonette and coffee shop across the street. Clean with fun breakfasts.Online computers, wireless and a U.S. phone line available. Taxi's at street and water taxi's to West End at beach. Family of three enjoyed... more

The family wanted to spend the last days of 2008 at a place we had never gone to: Roatan. We made up our minds about the trip on the first days of December, so finding a place to stay would not be easy. We sent e-mails to a lot of hotels, and the only answer about an available room was... more
