Located at the end of the small village, the big house was quaint and welcoming. Access to our room was up a tower and added to the 'medieval' feeling. Charming garden for a drink if desired. Clean bed and bath. Breakfast was lovely. The only problem was the breakdown of the credit card machine. We had enough cash to get... More

We flew from the U.S. to Toulouse where we spent two nights in the center of that historic city then rented cars and drove just two hours to Jeanne Maison d' Hote which had been recommended by a friend. We spent a full week at this superb 15th century Inn with a group of six. Jeanne Maison d' Hote features... More

This is the perfect French B and B you always hope to find and rarely do. The house is a gorgeous C15th and beautifully resored building in the typical Collonges style. It is away from the hurly burly but very near the centre. It also has a large car park. Our bedroom was large and and beamed and very comfortable.... More

The entire village including this B&B are built out of red stone. Easy walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Innkeepers are friendly and speak English; they provided a wonderful driving route to other small very beautiful villages in the area. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights during a touring holiday to France and this guest house was definitely one of the top accommodations we stayed at. We had "Chambre des Maman" and I just loved this room it is large and bright with beautiful furnishings. The owners are very friendly and helpful and Brigitte's breakfasts are very good. It is such... More

Being from New Zealand and knowing only the pleasantries in French made this hotel and the owners that much more wonderful. Pascal and Brigitte were very down to earth and conversant in English which made everything that much easier and more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for Brigitte - she made us a beautiful breakfast each day and greated... More

We picked it at random from a guide book - how lucky were we? This place has such charm, as do the excellent hosts, Brigitte and Pascal. Collonges is quirky- on arrival we were concerned it was going to be a Disneyesque setting but this is the genuine article - towers, turrets and all. Their recommendations for restaurants turned out... More

We stayed two nights at Jeanne Maison, in the 'small house' which is a few steps away from the main house. It suited us perfectly with a twin room downstairs and double upstairs, each with en suite shower rooms. The whole of Jeanne Maison is charming; alive with character and welcome. On the first evening we had dinner with our... More

My wife and I stayed one night in June at the Jeanne Maison d’Hôtes during a month-long visit in France. It was one of our very best experiences of the trip. We were warmly received by the owners, Brigitte and Pascal Monteil. The hotel is a red stone building with a 15th Century tower that leads up to several bedrooms.... More

We stayed in the chimney room which was full of character and included lovely old furniture. There was also the luxury of a separate beautiful modern bathroom and toilet. The room has two access doors, one via the 15th century tower and the other via a door opening onto a small terrace leading down to the garden. Their is a... More
