We were staying at this hotel for a week and it was one of the greatest summer holiday, which I ever had. Great place thanks to town Frymburk. Many activities around the lake and much more possibilities for shorter or longer trip. Sandy beach just 5 min by walking... Only one spot on a perfection of the place is the... More

We just had lunch there and that was enough. People in all other hotels are smiling and willing to serve, not here. And when i see all other reactions, this was not an exception. Pity. All other areas of Lipno lake we felt really welcome! If u want to have nice lunch or dinner consider twice....

Set beside Lake Lipno, Frymberk is a gem of a place. Peaceful change from the hustle and bustle of Cesky Krumlov. Vltava Hotel is a comfortable base from which to explore the beauties of Lake Lipno and the surrounding woods and hills of the Sumava National Park. Courteous and caring staff team; immaculately clean premises; with the additional joy of... More

Our party of eight had a great week-long holiday here in February 2014. We booked as we couldn't get into our usual place (the Hancova Bouda, Benecko) and because the lake Lipno area has good value family friendly skiiing options. Our family room was massive and well equipped. It was very comfortable as was the restaurant and the welcome sauna... More

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a cycle touring holiday. It may well be that if you book direct with the hotel then you get a better room, but our room was BASIC: not quite Youth Hostel basic, but certainly the worst hotel on our tour... The room was spartan and the bathroom didn't even have a plug... More

We had the misfortune to stay at this hotel as part of a cycling holiday with Bents Tours. This was by far the worst hotel out of the four we stayed in. The hotel is a bit run down in places although the walls look to have been freshly painted. The bedroom allocated to us could only be described as... More

We visited this hotel as part of a touring cycling holiday and stayed for two days. The location is great and the views from the room over the lake and garden were very pleasant. The furniture and decor were a bit basic but perfectly adequate. The hotel was very quiet and we slept very well there. The breakfast was good... More

Located on the main street, overlooking the lake on one side, this place has great potential, but felt like the owners may be complacent. The garden / terrace area was a little shabby, with weeds growing up through the tiles. Our room was on the surface quite roomy, but was an odd shape, so the double bed was crammed into... More
