I slept one night at this guest room and I had a warm welcoming. The owner is very kind and she wants to make sure that you have everything you need. My room was very well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast is substantial. This is a very lovely place.

A beautiful b&b with the most welcoming and accommodating host we have experienced. The room was lovely and had everything you needed, breakfast was generous & delicious as was the evening meal. Catherine also teaches cookery so the food really was a highlight. The garden is beautiful and relaxing and Catherine also has two lovely rescue dogs. We have already... More

Wonderful accommodation, beautiful garden and the most wonderful host. We stayed just one night en-route back from the south of France . Catherine and her son Jerome made us so welcome . The room was comfortable and well, equipped . The meal provided, which we ate with the family was one of the highlights of our three week trip to France... More

It is difficult to find adjectives to describe everything about A l'Ombre Bleue as it would be a stream of superlatives. It is an exceptional chambres 'd'hôtes where the welcome, facilities and food match the prettiness of the garden and the environment. It is unique and the words Catherine uses to describe it - charme, authenticité, plaisir sums it up... More

This was our second stay with Catherine en route further south. She is an excellent hostess and a great cook! The house is charming, rooms are equipped with everything you need, tea, coffee, a fridge full of water, beer, soft drinks. Catherine has the knack of making her guests feel at home, she loves her home and loves to share... More

A haven from the bland tyranny of minimalism! Everywhere you look there is something interesting to see, to read or to wonder at even if it is only the beautiful hand-painted frieze in la Chambres des Muses. It would be impossible to be bored here. There is everything you need in the fridge and no disgusting instant coffee- Catherine has... More

We stayed for just one night at Catherine's beautiful chambre d'hote. We wish we had known how lovely it was as we would have stayed longer. The setting is beautiful, with a lovely enclosed garden and a green with a duck pond just outside. The family room was perfect for the four of us; really it's a two room apartment,... More

A wonderful welcome. Super room. So many facilities (fridge of soft drinks, to which were added beers for me), coffee making facilities, snacks/nibbles. Incredible dinner beginning with aperitifs, many courses, good wine. I took myself off to bed some three hours later after coffee. Friendly proprietress (Catherine) who couldn't do enough.

We stayed with Catherine at A l'Ombre Bleu for three nights in November. The room we had was beautiful, the bed large and comfortable. Catherine goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. She has decorated the rooms with incredible attention to detail, lots of pretty touches, lovely pictures on the walls,... More
