We arrived on a cold dark evening to be greeted by Anne and a hot cup of tea and cake. The Mills' have a wonderful home which you are invited to share. Fernyrig proved to be such a good choice for our couple of days' break and change of routine. Kevin & Anne made us so welcome and they provide comfortable, relaxing surroundings in a lovely part of Scotland. The recommendation of dining at The Fisherman's Arms, Birgham, (pronounced 'Ber-jam', (yes?!)) was well-deserved, breakfast was excellent and the hospitality couldn't be faulted. more
We stayed here for our Anniversary. The couple who own the B&B and very friendly and genuine people who gave great care to detail and that bit extra on every level. Our room, residents lounge and dining room were very clean and tastefully decorated with nice added extras like chocolate biscuits on the hospitality tray. We prebooked an evening meal... more

My husband and I booked a 3 night stay reconmmemed by an other b&b. The website showed a lovely garden with chickens running round the garden. On arrival our expectations where full filled with a beatuiful garden, house and a warm welcome.
