A delightful room to stay in, bright and airy, with views out our window of the French Alps. Comfortable bed and terrific bathroom. Did get a little warm in the room at night but couldn't really open the window for long due to noise outside. Owner was pleasant on arrival but did get a little pushy on our checkout day,... More

A lovely change from the normal corporate hotels. Very friendly and in a great position in the centre of town. Free secure parking for our bikes and when I found I had a puncture before leaving the owner arranged with a local garage to get it fixed.

The hotel is ideally located to many restaurants and shops in the center of the village, and there is parking nearby. We stayed in room 33, which had two singles. The room was clean and modern, and there was plenty of room in the bathroom and a small area with a dining table. The beds were comfortable although we needed... More

We stayed here for 5 nights to ride the route Des Grande Alps. The hotel is situated in a small square with numerous bars and restaurants to cover all tastes. The hotel was clean and welcoming and the bathroom was spotless. The owner ( a keen cyclist and biker) was friendly and helpfull. There are 2 large garages for bikes... More

The hotel owner had no customer service skills at all: he underestimated clients who didn't speak French, shouted at them and was really, really rude. The rooms very old fashioned and the general atmosphere in the hotel was quite depressive. Extra warning to female customers: the owner has a habit to visit rooms with his own keys without knocking on... More

We loved the small town of Barcelonnette and the hotel's location on the main square was very atmospheric. We were there during the week and didn't have any noise. There was plenty of parking in a free public lot behind the hotel. The room was about the size you would expect in France, but they had made extra effort to... More

Just had a great ski holiday in Pra Loup and stayed at this hotel just a 15 minute drive from the slope. It was good because the town had a good selection of restaurants and apres ski and that lovely village feel. A very pretty town to stay in. The hotel is in the town centre in an attractive square....
