This remarkable ecolodge is a unique cultural experience in the south Gobi. The central library/bar is a tasteful stone and wood building with books and videos about the natural history of the area. Lodging is in very comfortable gers. Recommend the deluxe double gers with attached stone bathroom. The restaurant ger provides very good food in a pleasant setting. The... More

A true gem and a luxury oasis in the Gobi desert! Authentic, charming, providing exceptional service, offering cuisine that's pleasing to any palette. The Deluxe Gers are quaint, with brightly colored, hand painted, furnishings, cashmere softness, and original, local stone work in the full en-suite bathrooms. After a long day of exploring you can reward yourself with a professional massage... More

I was leading a group of 23 on a week long trip to Mongolia. Chose the Three Camel Lodge for our stay in the Gobi Desert. A 75 minutes drive from the airport in the wilderness brought us to this 30+ Ger Camp. The deluxe Gers with attached toilets were very cosy & comfortable. Considering that we were miles away... The Three Camel Lodge was the absolute highlight of our trip. Unbelievable scenery and experience. The stars at night took our breaths away. Every single excursion we took from there was worth the bumpy ride. The service at the Three Camel was excellent. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We also really enjoyed the... What a fabulous spot. We had a few spare days in China, and I took my 16 year old grandson off to the Gobi for a few days. Everything was exception, beyond our expectations. The accommodations were great, the staff fabulous, the food outstanding, the guides knowledgable, polite, and friendly. I would return any chance I got. The girs, (tents)... More

Riding through the Gobi is an exciting outdoor adventure with bad roads and many herds of horses, camels and goats. And then you come upon the Three Camels. Oh MY!! We stayed in deluxe gers with full private baths.

This is the only luxury Ger in the desert and it is expensive, we booked as we wanted bathrooms, rooms ok but definitely basic. The food was terrible it was like being in a scouts camp served fast and furious and not hot and basic everyone complained. 2 nights max in this camp and make sure you cover all the... More

This camp is a long way from anywhere (about 70 kms to the airport and 30 kms to the local village all on dirt tracks) and consists of about 20 individual accommodation Gers sparsely set around the central dining and entertainment area. Rooms consist of 2 small Gers joined together. There is one universal power point near the sink. No... More

After a long drive on dirt tracks from the airport you come to a group of about forty gers around a small permanent building which is the restaurant. The gers consist of the one small basic room with a king size bed, an iron stove for warmth in the middle, a coffee table and two chairs and a wooden rod... More

Three camel lodge is outstanding in every way! We loved our guide, driver, hikes, food and our amazing her. The dinner at the flaming cliffs and the day at the Nadeem festival were very special. I loved the ger's and the amazing energy of the place.
