Couples time out for us in our high-pressured lives is very important and this BnB was perfect. We felt completely at home while still being treated like royalty. We will come back again and again and again! A very special place. LOVE it.

Our originally booked garden cottage was booked out longterm for another couple and we were upgraded free of charge to the queen suite. What an absolute beautiful place! We wanted to spend more time indoors than outdoors! The service was great. Thanks!

It was a last minute decision to stay here and what a good decision that was! Front desk service was friendly and very professional and getting a map to all the attractions was a great help. Cannot fault in any area.

Cape Dutch Quarters consists of several houses; we stayed at their Old Coach House - a charming barn-conversion at 20 Church Street. The house is really quaint but has all the amenities you need for a short stay; spacious kitchen, comfortable lounge with TV, private outside area, a loft bedroom and a modern bathroom. We were especially impressed by the... More

Booked the Executive sweet on recommendation from Jackie. She confirmed the booking. Three days before my arrival I again confirmed the booked and we were given the all clear. We arrived to hear that we have been put out our room by instructions of the owner and that without warning we were booked into another property. On inspection we found... More

Dear Morne. We are very sorry that the the toilet seat having been left up, the berries under the tree and for the smell of thatch in the historic cottage you were offered. I personally don't understand how this could have created such a terrible impression this must have created of CDQ. It is tragic that you chose to buy... More

Staying over at the historic Cape Dutch Quarters brings a visit to this beautiful old Cape town into a sharper focus in appreciating the times of yester- year. The Reception staff are knowledgeable, efficient and charmingly helpful.

Service was very good, despite us only getting there after 7pm. Room was neat and tidy. Might be a bit small if we stayed for longer. Breakfast was very good, enjoyed the variety on offer. Will go again.

In the process of planning a night away for my boyfriend's birthday, I came across information about Tulbagh, which I'd never visited, and began to explore accommodation options. Cape Dutch Quarter caught my eye immediately. I had a good feeling about the place right away--but I could not have imagined the utter paradise and treasure that is Tulbagh, with the... More

We spent three nights in Yellowwood House with 4 adults, a child and a baby. What a lovely place for our family from Australia and relatives from the UK to meet! The house was extremely spacious and the two bedrooms were more than adequate for our needs (2 adults and 2 kids easily fitted within one spacious bedroom). Aside from... More
