This past weekend we stayed at the Tulbagh Hotel and I must say that my partner and I were blown away from start to finish! We arrived and were greeted by extremely friendly staff who told us a bit about Tulbagh and showed us to our room. The room was lovely and one of the most comfortable beds, it was... More

I recently made use of the conference facilities at the hotel as well stayed over for two nights during this time. The hotel's facilities and rooms are very comfortable, the staff are attentive and a delight and the food delicious. Overall I had a very pleasant experience! Thank you to all the ladies I had dealings with over the three... More

I had an awesome reception from simone at tulbagh hotel yesterday 10/8/2014. The service was great. Simone was humble and courtoues. The food was fresh and neatly prepared. The hotel so clean and even though they had no electricity due to Eskom working somewhere in the area the feeling of home was experienced. Thank you and keep up the good... More

I stayed there during one week, and it was a very good experiece. It is a very nice hotel, in a big house with rooms in different areas of the house. The room was nice and clean, the restroom too, and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant is very good, and the service was perfect. Every waitress tried to make... More

We visited the Tulbagh Hotel during a blogger weekend in July 2014. We all met at the hotel and enjoyed tea and coffee in front of a roaring fire while we waited for the rest of our team to arrive. We then did a tour of the hotel on Van der Stel Street, Church Street, and the Toll House. The... More

Dear Lauren many thanks to you and your fellow bloggers for spending some time at the Tulbagh Hotel and the Toll House during your visit. I perhaps treat the hotel a bit too much like my home, hence the 2 pianos and the recent addition on an 1850 bellow operated organ! Anyway, I take it as a compliment that you... More

Dear Danie many thanks for your valued review. Very pleased we were able to help with some suggestions for things to do in Tulbagh. We now have our own in house spa which is proving to be very popular, as well as the wine and olive tasting, horse riding through vineyards and some great mountain bike and hiking trails. Hope... My husband and I have been dying to visit Tulbagh for quite a while and finally the occasion appeared this weekend. We stayed at the elegant and classic Tulbagh Hotel. Wow...perhaps this is not your 10 star luxury, but wow.....loved every second there. The rooms..on first sight a bit small, but then you fall in love with the super cosy... More

Dear Natka thank you for choosing to stay at the Tulbagh Hotel. So pleased you enjoyed your stay. The Fynbos rooms are our smallest rooms with a shower. Next time perhaps try our Protea rooms which have a bath and shower and are very spacious or our Saronsberg honeymoon suite, which also has a fireplace. Hope to welcome you back... More

We found the staff to be extremely polite and friendly. Our room was of a good standard and contained all the amenities one would expect. Having bicycles available was a nice touch and we enjoyed exploring the town on two wheels.
