My partner and I previously stopped at The Trow and we had an amazing stay. We were welcomed with home baked cakes and a great pot of tea. Our stay was such a fantastic experience I booked again for my moms 70th birthday We were certainly not disappointed, such a warm welcome, the rooms were lovely especially the William and... More

What a lovely warm and friendly welcome, tea and cakes that had to be indulged! This little B&B is a home from home, warm and cosy with a kitchen/dining area where you can make your own snacks/cuppa. Comfortable bed, with crisp white linen and deep pillows. In the morning a wonderful breakfast which included home made bread.

We stayed at the severn trow this weekend and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. From the moment we arrived (after being stuck in traffic from london for 5 hours) we were made to feel so welcome - we were handed a lovely glass of wine and told to make ourselves feel at home. The room was lovely with... More

Myself and my partner stayed here in January in the William & Mary room with a beautiful 4 poster bed and crisp white bed linen. Sara & Ken were wonderful hosts with excellent knowledge of the history of the house and of the area. What a treat to see the chickens running around the private garden at the back and... More

I found this treasure of a B&B whilst looking for somewhere convenient for a meeting the following morning in Telford city centre. It exceeded all expectations. It is full of character and charm, tastefully decorated and furnished. Sara and Ken were perfect hosts, upgrading us to a lovely room with a four poster bed when it turned out that our... More

We are staying at the Severn Trow and finding it comfortable and hospitable. The house is quite old and a good bit of the character remains, yet comfort is not compromised by the age! The beds are comfortable, linens and pillows good quality and I had a good hot shower! Ken and Sara have been attentive and helpful hosts-- we... More

The Severn Trow was recommended to me by an old friend who had stayed there previously and myself and my partner had the pleasure of a two day midweek break in early December. Sara and Ken were the perfect hosts, train was running late on arrival and Ken even offered to pick us up from the station as it had been... More

Spent three nights at the Trow with my husband and some friends this month while attending an event at Telford International Center. It was our second visit and we chose to return because of the great stay we had the first time in 2011. Accommodations are warm, cozy and unassuming, you are made to feel right at home which is... We had a two night stay here in October. Ken and Sara were wonderful hosts. There were fresh baked scones waiting for us (yummy!!), and a variety of breakfast choices. I had the pancakes and the sausage sandwich (not on the same day, or I would have exploded). The rooms were nicely set up, and the B&B was quiet and... More

I stayed for 3 nights at the Severn Trow in the Wilfred Room by myself for a 3 day event at the Museum of Iron and although it was facing the road (no views), it was extremely quiet. Lovely big bathroom, tasty breakfasts and the most fabulous homemade bread for you to toast and spread on their own jam, using... More

First of all we are pleased you loved our breakfasts, bread and jams and your big bathroom and our service during your stay. We wish you had mentioned something to us - or the other guests about noise. The Trow is a very old building - the oldest part is from 1690 - so we don't have spacious corridors or... More
