Our stay was very disappointing, and we will most certainly never stay there again. The fact that the owners, Ken and Sara, were not there really did not work for us - on our first evening we were left to our own devices, and found we could not connect to the wifi or make the tv in our room work.... We went to the severn trow for the second time from the 15th - 18th June. What a fantastic time. Lovley coffee cake on arrival. Ken andd Sara are great hosts. Four poster bed very comfortable , made charlie the dog feel very at home, he enjoyed the breakfasts on the mornings. Great breakfasts great hosts, quiet surroundings. What more... More

This was the second time I had stayed at the Severn Trow with my autistic daughter. We arrived really late due to traffic and were welcomed like old friends by Sara and Ken, who generously provided us with a lovely evening meal (created especially wiht my daughter's faddiness in mind). The bedrooms are gorgeous, the beds are the comfiest I've... More

Stayed here at the weekend, and have to say that whilst it is tucked away, this place really is a great find. it is unique, quirky and charming. The beds are incredibly comfortable , and the breakfast was hearty, and filling, thanks to chef Debs for accommodating our request for pancakes! We will definitely do a return visit to this... More

I stayed for 2 nights at the Trow, for probably the third time over the past 4 years. I wasn't sure if the owners were still around so was mightily relieved when I was welcomed by Ken. (No problems with the door bell!) the room was excellent, as was the breakfast, all cooked to order, with a great choice of... More

Upon arrival we were welcomed by Ken in a very friendly manner, plied with cake and tea, shown to our room, the 'William and Mary', which, in all fairness, we absolutely loved and we were left in peace... With the offer of more cake and tea extended. The room was lovely, clean and warm, extra touches making all the difference,... More

Dear James We are very pleased you enjoyed your first nights stay. You mentioned the rose petals and the cakes and tea and your very warm welcome but can we check did you like the special St Valentines bottle of prosecco that we put out in the room with two sparkling flutes? What about the box of luxurious valentines chocolates?... More

Why settle for a stuffy, impersonal hotel with clinical rooms when you've a welcome like this awaiting you at The Severn Tow from proprietors Sara and Ken? Warm, totally friendly, this lovely B&B has that instant "at home" appeal and both the breakfast and service are first class. It's a much loved, lived-in home within spitting distance of the River... A superb stay in the Severn Trow. An historical and quaint building, beautiful rooms, extremely comfy beds, great food and a wonderful reception from Sara and Ken. An absolute gem of a B&B. Already planning my next stay.

We only spent one night but it was very comfortable and very quiet. The owners were away but we were ably looked after and had the place to ourselves. The guest lounge facility is a brilliant idea and met our needs very well. There are lots of low ceilings but it was not a problem despite being 6ft 4 in... More

We stayed with our dog in September 2013 for 2 nights. Sara and Ken gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely and the doggy breakfast was a great touch. The local pubs are good for evening meals and also very welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying at the Trow... More
