Stayed 3 nights as part of a 'Discover the World' northern lights package, 2 in a warm room and the last night in an ice room. Transfer was efficient, we were expecting a bus transfer but a taxi collected us and another couple. Unfortunately our room wasn't ready on time, so we killed time having a very nice buffet lunch... I went with my girlfriend as a surprise. It was quite a clinical, non-personal experience compared to a great time spent in a small swedish town Porjus where we saw the Northern Lights in full bloom. Our room was very small and was nothing like the one that was advertised on the website. The ICE sculptures were fantastic and the... More

There are times in your life where you get emotional that you are able to be part of something, and staying at the icehotel was one of these. We stayed the night in the Eternity Room which is an art suite. We didn't really feel the cold at night with the hotels sleeping bags. There are no bathrooms or changing... More

Just come back from having the best weekend ever!!!! What an amazing hotel. We stayed in an art suite room 316 white water. It wasn't one of the most imaginative rooms. But still beautiful. We didn't feel cold in the night. The sleeping bags provided and instructions of what to wear kept us very warm. It was nice to wake... More

We have just got back from spending the weekend at the Icehotel and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is excellent - we had the special Ice menu with drinks package - a glass with each of the six courses - be warned it is a glass and not what we... More

I booked a surprise trip to the Ice hotel for myself and my girlfriend. we had spoken about going there before but never managed it. from the start we knew it would be a trip to remember and we were not disapointed in any way! We arrived on the direct flight from london on saturday afternoon and were booked to... More

My wife, daughter and I traveled to the Icehotel Jan 2-4 and can only say it was well worth the money. We took the bus transfer from the airport. For the price it my be worth while taking a taxi, as once everyone gets off the bus the check-in process is quite long if you aren't at the front of... More

Went here for my wife's birthday and she has told me it was the best day of her life! Not quite sure if it includes our wedding and our kids births! We just stayed one night in one of the normal ice rooms. When we booked the warm rooms etc were fully booked, so was in Kiruna the rest of... More

We stayed here for 4 nights with just 1 night in the Ice Rooms. This was definitely a once in a lifetime trip, walking out of dinner in -38 temps and seeing the northern lights is breathtaking for a lot of reasons. The atmosphere and food at the hotel were fantastic, we really enjoyed both restaurants as well as the... More

This was part of a package booked through Simply Sweden in the UK. We stayed one night in a snow room and one night in a kaamos. I can't say I enjoyed my night in the Snow Room. We went to our snow room at 1am having been snowmobiling and seeing the Northern Lights. I got about 3 hours sleep.... More
