Magical! Everything we thought, and hoped, it would be. The whole experience was fabulous. We stayed at the Arctic Eden in Karuna for 5 days and we made a conscious effort not to see the Ice Hotel until we arrived to stay for 1 night. This way everything was building up and very exciting. We did the dog sledding, moose... More

Got my 50th birthday my wife and I went to the Ice Hotel in Swedish Lapland. What a truly remarkable place We slept in one of the 'art suites'. They have two type of rooms 'cold rooms' and 'art suites' They recommend one night in one of these and then we stayed for two further nights in beautifully presented wood... More

The original IceHotel is the coolest by far. Imitations have sprouted elsewhere but this is the real deal. Inside it's an eerie yet fascinating world of white, blue and green. Even drinks in the bar come in glasses carved from ice. Temperatures in the hotel are kept between -5ºC and -8ºC. You get an Arctic sleeping bag, prepare for the... More

Covered in darkness the Ice Hotel is a gem like no other! From arriving to your departure you will be in awe of this amazing place hotel! Yes it is incredibly cold, yes it is pretty expensive but the experience cannot be compared to any other! I would recommend sleeping in the Ice Hotel itself for at least 1 night!... More

Staying at Icehotel can probably be called once in a lifetime experience because 1. it is unique to sleep in a hotel made of ice 2. it is quite far and u wont frequently visit it. The best part of the hotel is that they are all unique in design and the look. But at the same time it is... More

We had a quick weekend trip in icehotel in Jukkasjarvi. Sleeping a night in the ice hotel was something I have not done before. It truly touched all my senses and that experience I won't forget. Area is really nice and expecially the lights decorate the ice castle nice. I also liked the small decorations what they had in the... More

Staying at the Icehotel is more about the experience than anything else. Where else can you enjoy eating in a superb restaurant, seeing the Northern Lights and going for a walk at -20C! We thought that the hotel was excellent and greatly enjoyed the experience of staying there and happily recommend it to others. Just a few tips: - You... More

Travelled to the Ice Hotel after starting at Abisko with Discover the world. Abisko hotel basic but clean, little trek to the base of the mountain to catch the chairlift to the top, you will need decent walking shoes/boots and you cannot get warm clothing until you get to the lift. Warm refreshments at the top. We were lucky enough... More

We have visited the ice hotel twice now and are due to return again in February 2012. This is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. We always stay in the warm accommodation as I am a bit of a home comfort bird and like my warmth!! I would say to anyone who really wants to visit the... More

I think this attraction is unique and charming. The ticket is quite expensive but completely worthy: you'll spend at least 2 hours walking around in the ice hall, the simple rooms and all the different suites (every year they are different and designed by different artists from all over the world). Everything is carved in ice and snow and some... More
