We went to the IceHotel for my birthday and we were it disappointed. We stayed in the Polar Night room, it was magical. We have been given the duvet to sleep in and trust me, even so it was -5 degrees, we were very warm. An experience of a life time. A special thank you to Jonna and Isa at... More

We went on a trip with Discover the World for 4 nights. the first night was at Abisko but the next 3 were at the Ice Hotel. The Ice Hotel is a class act. We stayed in a warm room all 3 nights because we did not want to sleep on ice. The rooms are warm, clean with excellent wi-fi.... More

Read first! I mention that this review should be read first because this hotel albeit gorgeous can be an entirely frustrating experience. Upon arrival after a 4.5 hour bus ride and an almost 2 hour train ride some organization would've been appreciated by my group. For start, once we emailed the hotel regarding our train times asking for confirmation that... More

We spent two amazing nights at the Icehotel (as well as a night in Abisko), travelling with Discover the World (who were excellent). We spent one night in a warm room - very large, very comfortable and good facilities - and one night in an ice room (an Art Suite). This was an incredible and unforgettable experience; there is plenty... More

This was an optional extra after three nights at the Davvi Lodge. We had three hours to wander around this fantastic ice structure. I have to say that it was an experience not to be missed! The rooms were brilliantly carved and every one was unique. It was a truly awesome experience and ticked another bucket list box.

Jukkasjärvi Icehotell is beautyfull place to visit. Well made ice sculptures and faschinating scenery makes this place a must for photographer. Only minus is the price. Over 300 SEK for day visit is too much. With that price one can expect more services than guided tour.

Just returned from the Ice Hotel with Discover the World. Everything will be explained to you by the staff, in terms of what to do if you are sleeping in the Ice Hotel cold accommodation. So I'd rather share some tips which we think may be useful. 1. If staying in the cold accommodation on the the first night, like... More

Not to be missed if you get the chance - in principle it seems like an odd idea but everything is set up to make sure you just have an amazing experience and one not to forget. The facilities are excellent - great (warm) background areas with warm washroom facilities, sauna etc. etc. to make sure you are well set... More

We recently went with 'Discover the World' - they were excellent in themselves at all stages - to the IceHotel and had a very good four days. Whilst we did not sleep in an ice room (don't quite understand why anybody would!), the warm room accommodation was good as were all the facilities. The Icehotel is all about the activities....
