We went on a family trip to Ice hotel, had an amazing time here. Lot of activities to do, the Ice bar was the best. We stayed in the warm room but had a look at the cold room as well, simply superb piece of architecture.

We visited the Icehotel as a day trip, and so I couldn't comment on what it is like to stay there, but as day visitors we found it very expensive and although it was very cleverly built inside, some of the rooms were a bit of a disappointment, compared to the pictures we had seen on the internet. The chapel... More

An overdue review...so won't repeat all the other fantastic comments on here. An amazing experience to celebrate a special birthday. Stayed in one of the two deluxe suites in the Icehotel. My advice to anyone would be to splash out and pay the extra for this. We had our own sauna and ensuite with a bottle of champagne waiting for... More

This was far an unforgettable trip, it is one of the most amazing trips i have ever gone on. We travelled with Discover the World who organised the whole itinerary. The fact that it was celebrating its 25 years was icing on the cake. We stayed here for 2 nights, 1 night in a warm room and 1 night in... More

I thought it would be romantic to celebrate our anniversary at the Icehotel, in spite of the price (SEK5550:- for the northern light suite) and my husband's protest. He asked if I was aware of how cold it could be - probably around -30 degrees Celcius. I said I managed! When we arrived at the hotel, we found the reception... More

A bucket list destination for which I had with huge expectations. I've watched documentaries on this place & its annual build & had a desire to witness first hand the construction, art, culture & heritage of this beautiful place. It lived up to it & more! We arrived, by sleeper train, an hour late at the station due to an... More

I spent 4 nights at the hotel. The complex has warm rooms that are pretty comfortable. The advantages of staying so many nights are that you can observe the gourgeous skies at night and take part in great outdoor activities, such as the aurora snowmobile hunt. The cold rooms are the main attraction but there are other Ice constructions that... More

If you are looking for the unique experience of sleeping in sub zero temparature on a ice bed in a ice room ...this is it! It is a must do bucket list item. However ..... one night is enough for that experience! It is not the most convenient hotel stay. There is nothing else in the room other than an... More

Sleeping in sub zero temperatures was in my bucket list, so we did this. The hotel provided all that's required to survive the night, you only need to have your thermals (you can also buy it there). The hotel and the surroundings were quite touristy but it was nice. Do the walk to the nearby village to see the church... More

We spent 2 nights at the Icehotel, one in an ice suite and one in a warm room. The ice rooms are very beautiful, so clever and all so different, amazing to see. We thought it was well worth a bit extra to stay in the ice rooms with en suite facilities, though they are just outside the ice room.... More
