Very late review but better late than never. Me and my partner booked back in June for the 17th of October to the 24th and after seeing the bad reviews pile up we tried to change hotels but had no luck. We arrived at hotel magna around half 5. It looked clean and nice as we walked in, the lady... More

Booked this hotel well in advance, having read the mixed reviews, was a bit worried to start with, but the latest reviews were better, so felt encouraged by that. First impressions were good, the staff were friendly, and our room was a good size. The domestics came daily and changed the sheets and towels. But the good ends there.... There... More

Where do I start? Our first point of call at the reception desk was with a lady receptionist, who welcomed us, gave us our key, showed us the lift. my daughter and I went on this week's AL holiday, looking forward to it and getting excited as the time came nearer. So we asked her about the entertainment etc, she... More

I usually do reviews quite quickly but this is somewhat delayed !! We got booked into this hotel due to a complete and utter cock up by the holiday company (but that is another story)!! To give this hotel its review is somewhat difficult because we had an awful holiday which was mainly down to events outside the hotel's control.... More

My partner and I both got very bad gastric problems. I had a period feeling nauseous, followed by severe vomiting; she was worse with vomiting and diarrhoea half-hourly through one night and is still, a week later, not feeling right. The hotel says it's a virus. Maybe it is; maybe it's the indifferent food hygiene that's visible or maybe it's... More

I use tripadvisor a lot as I find it a valuable tool. I’ve written quite a few reviews and try to be reasonable and balanced. Magna Graecia isn’t a bad hotel. The rooms are spacious, in good order and the cleaners are brilliant. The location is only a short walk from the beach and town. When we arrived the hotel... More
