Had a most enjoyable two week stay in a cottage. The staff were without exception welcoming and helpful. The grounds were well maintained, special congratulations to the gardeners. The only fault I could find was our bed which was very soft (new mattress needed) but possibly other people might prefer a soft mattress! Well worth a visit a lot do... More

We stayed on the campsite at Clippesby for Spring Bank holiday in May. Pitches are spacious and generally flat. First day was delightful. Loos clean but not as spotless as our stay this a time last year. The facilities are great for families even teens. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Weather turned on day 2 to torrential rain, so... More

We've just returned from a couple of days camping at Clippesby Hall. The facilities are fabulous for a family break - with adventure playground, zip wires, grass tennis court, heated outdoor pool, crazy golf, safe cycling paths etc. The loos and showers were extremely clean and the whole site was very well maintained. It was just shame the weather wasn't... More

Just spent 2 weeks in Grampian holiday cottage set within a courtyard development, next to the Hall, home of the owners. It was surrounded by a large wooded camp site, busy at the w/e and quiet during the week. The cottage was clean and spacious, equipped with all mod cons. The downstairs en suite walk in shower floor was incorrectly sloped... More

We stayed at The Coach House after having to vacate the quite simply awful, Wakefield Court Beach in "California" (far from it!). The house itself is perfect and provides great comfortable, spacious accomodation. Lovely touches are added too. It was simply devine, we had the beautiful pool all to ourselves (midweek) we dined in the restaurant. The food was brilliant,... More

Just returned from an outstanding 40th birthday surprise, mine. My partner had booked 3 of the four cabins that overlook the main road in. The surprise went off without a hitch, we were staying in the very end cabin nearest the fields of maize & it was fantastic. They are all set in woodland & are as peaceful as you... More

My Husband and I found a small advert for this site while we were visiting friends in Felixstowe at the start of our camping trip. We called in advance to check they had availability as we didn't know much about the site from the advert. When we arrived, the lady on reception invited us to have a wander around the... More

We stayed here for the first time in June. My husband booked the site and chose where to camp. It was quiet when we turned up but then filled up for the weekend, therefore lots of families and kids. Everyone was very nice around us but if you want to be able to sleep at night (kids still up at... More

Been to Clippesby around 15 times over the years, always camping and always had nothing but a great stay. The site is set out with beautiful tree lined pitches, not just all in rows in a field like many sites. The main house is stunning and makes a lovely backdrop. Outside pool is clean and sufficient play areas for all... More

Love it here. Even the half term weather didnt ruin our fun (we had some sun...) This campsite is beautifully laid out, they could easily fit twice the number of tents in but they dont - and that makes it so much nicer. Well kept, mature trees, so pretty. Plenty for the kids to do (golf, football, climbing frames, zip... More
