Stayed here December 2013 with a Six year old and would go back. Clean comfortable cabins, good range and choice of meals. Went with Magic of Lapland so did the Santa experience etc with them. Nice walk to the village and shops, just the right distance. Drying room in the apartment handy.

As a Finn and frequent visitor to Lapland, there are a couple of things I look for in accommodation for a winter holiday. 1) Large breakfasts, 2) good access to ski tracks, 3) good sleep, and 4) good sauna. Ylläshumina definitely ticks all the boxes. The breakfast is great, ski tracks start from just next door, the rooms are nice... More

Riku and Sanna who run the tour as the hotel's partner are very great. The weather was great, great view. It snowed the night before but they cleared the track using snowmobile before we went off sledding. They briefed us on how to drive the dogs with the sledge. It was easy. The ride was safe. The dogs were so... More

Undoubtedly the best hotel in the village, although given the competition that’s not saying much. No welcome or farewell, despite this being a repeat visit. Some permanent staff lacking in customer skills, others provide exceptional service. Dining room only really large enough for the hotel residents, yet on several days half the tables are reserved for external clients. Hotel guests... More

I had a great time here. The cabins were awesome. It was cleaned every second day though. The resort has a sauna and a hot tub (the hot tub only runs once a week but I think it should run more often as it was really good). I should have gone the half board because the meals were fabulous. I... More

We booked this activity week through Inntravel as a treat for my 50th; as ever the organisation was excellent. The hotel was really brilliant, most particularly, the staff were fantastic. Despite warnings about the Finn's reserve we found them friendly and helpful and they really added to the holiday. I must single out Timo who gave us a ski lesson,... More

We visited YllasHumina in January 2014 with 6 adults and 2 kids (one 4 months, another 1,5 years) and the trip could not have been a better success. The hotel consists of a main building, which has the bar (for day time eating/after ski drinks area), as well as the reception and the breakfast/dinner buffet area. The interior is built... More

We didnot want new towels, just the cleaning. The towels re horrible..btw, they donot absorb at all and are tiny..On top of that you... More

We booked our week away with Inntravel and couldn't have asked for better service and organisation, they took all the stress away from booking a holiday. We stayed in one of the Superior rooms. The room was fantastic with a living room, log burning stove, amazing bathroom with double sinks and double shower and a big comfy bed. We only... More

The Ylläs-tunturi national park is simply the finest cross-country ski area on the planet. Hundreds of miles of beautifully maintained classic and skating trails through a pristine arctic wilderness of forests, marshes and tunturi (rounded hills). Unlike many other areas the trails extend over a huge area rather than criss-crossing each other in a tight grid and many of the... More
