On arrival the hotel staff were very accomodating and despite the language barrier (given my poor Spanish and their non existent English) I was made to feel very accomodating and was show to the room. The room itself was very large, very clean and contained all mod cons (Wi Fi, TV, window shutters). The breakfast was very basic (cereals, bread,... More

In my search for the perfect Camino hotel this comes close. Friendly checkin, modern building and rooms, convenient to many bars and restaurants, not too far from the Camino. Shower was hot and strong but had a weird overhead rose where the water just poured out rather than sprayed. The room was large and clean. The French doors opened to... More

Attracted by the huge billboards as we approached the city, we decided to check into the Hotel Villa de Cacabelos. We were warmly welcomed, and our room was clean and comfortable. Desk staff were very helpful as to choices of nearby restaurants. It was a welcome break from the alburgues we had been staying at.

Excellent value! Spacious clean rooms, baths with bath tubs and extremely friendly staff. If this is not enough: ask for the physiotherapist "body and feet" who is just around the corner. Felix is one of the best physiotherapist I ever met.

Arrived to a very pleasant welcome from staff member and even though we are unable to speak Spanish we were able to make ourselves understood. Bedroom and bathroom immaculate and very comfortable. Dinner prepared especially for us, fresh and plentiful. Would recommend this to other walkers of the Camino De Santiago Compostela.

This modern medium sized hotel was possibly the best value of all I stayed in for 17 days on the Camino . All was very good but as I always emphasize it is often a staff member that makes the difference . This was so here . I'm never looking for exceptional and I found at this hotel a young... More

Stayed here for a second visit in April for four nights. The only place to stay in on near Cacabelos. Our stay as previously was made all the more special by the wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Looking forward to a return visit already.

This is a very nice hotel. A very welcome respite after a hot day of walking. Very friendly staff, very spacious clean room. Close to restaurants, right on the trail out of town. Nice breakfast. I would stay there again.

While walking the Camino de Santiago we had no place to stay in Cacabelos. As we approached town we saw a large billboard for the Villa Cacabelos.".New..Accommodating...buffet breakfast..convenient location... etc". Took a risk and deviated from the Camino (the Hotel is actually about 100 meters from the Camino but one has to leave the Camino and follow some wandering diagonal... More
