We recently visited the Beaconsfield area after an absence of 50 years. The area is more beautiful and developed as you would expect. Travelling along the residential part of the Lakeshore was delightful. Our overnight stay at the Chalets Beaconsfield Motel was very comfortable. Our small dog was welcome and there was a substantial grassy area for her early morning... More

The Gentlemen, George and Karl, are no longer there. I was "greeted" by a pretty rude woman and did not even look at any rooms so I have no idea the condition they are in now - I have not been here for over a year but it used to be very cozy. If you can tolerate the new concierge... More

The owner, Karl, is very gentlemanly and polite. He made our stay in his motel very pleasant. The room was clean and very quiet. Our pug dog was welcome. What an amazing find right in the heart of Beaconsfield only a block from the St.Lawrence River.

I recently had occasion to stay at this Motel. Located right in the town of Beaconsfield it is a rare find. Easy to get to from Highway 20..not 10 minutes from highway 40 this place is clean, comfortable and affordable. We found the bed was extremely comfortable, the room and bathroom was impeccably clean. Our host Karl was gracious and... More

Maitenance is a big issue, but the rooms were not attractive. We had multiple lights that needed replacing. We left a day early as we did not want to stay any longer. George was out, and we just left the key with houskeeping. The good 1. Nice Coffee maker with coffee for a full pot 2. Nice refrigerator. 3. Great... More

Away from the bustle of the city, this was a great place to stay for all of the reasons in the title. Our room conveniently backed onto a yard for our dog, the AC was great, and it was a 2 min walk from the stores/bakery in Beaconsfield.

It was nice to have this quiet, clean, comfortable accommodation available, that is away from the airport and/or not on the highway/freeway, though still close enough to the airport. With wonderful older trees and a quick stroll down to the water -- it was definitely a welcome retreat.

This place is well decked out and nice and quiet location. Walls are quite thin, room is not evenly heated, but the suite is spacious and everything works. Not too overpriced. I would recommend this place, it's cozy and in a very nice neighbourhood.

We stayed here 1 night to avoid having to worry about driving back downtown after a holiday dinner in nearby Pointe-Claire. The owner, George, was very welcoming, and gave us a substantially reduced rate, just out of holiday cheer! We stayed in the only "Deluxe Suite", which has a whirlpool bathtub that can comfortably fit two. Despite the "deluxe" title,... More

We were playing golf at a nearby course and looked for an affordable hotel close by - not one by the airport or downtown Montreal and we found the ideal one at Chalets Beaconsfield. The manager (George) was very helpful in suggesting a restaurant in the area (Le Bocage only 100 metres away). The motel is designated 2-star by Quebec... More
