We spent the night in Bedford during a 5 week Trans-Canada motorcycle trip and were pleased beyond words. The moment Diane came to the door my wife and I just fell in love with her. We stayed in B&Bs all through Canada and while all our experiences were positive, sitting and talking with Diane was the highlight. Her enthusiasm comes... More

Spending one night at this amazing B&B was incredibly relaxing. Then the next morning we ate a healthy breakfast: fresh fruit and Greek yogourt served in a martini glass, a yummy vegetable omelet with swiss cheese and the best coffee). Thank you Diane... you are simply the best and we will recommend this place to all our friends!!!

We stayed here on our first trip to the area. It is ideally situated midway between the airport and Halifax and very easy to find. The room was lovely and comfortable and the views over the bay are spectacular. However the real stars of any visit are the wonderful breakfasts that Diane serves, 3 courses and for us some days... The moment we arrived at this delightful B&B we felt welcome. My husband and I stayed in the Carriage Room which was immaculate, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our host Diane made a scrumptious hot breakfast which kept us going until dinner time. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to stay in Bedford and/or closer to the airport. A... More

Great location between the airport and downtown only 15 minutes each way. Very comfortable bed and delicious & plentiful breakfasts - no need for lunch. Very clean & interesting heritage house. Diane & Martin were wonderful hosts.

Beautiful, tastefully done accommodations with attention to detail and comfort. Diane was a charming, informative, delightful hostess. The breakfasts were amazing. Delicious and hearty. We would love to stay here again if ever back in the area and would recommend it highly. We visited many B&Bs on our trip to the Maritime Provinces and this in my opinion was by... More

Delightful hostess is also a great cook. Morning coffee was some of the best I've tasted. The food was delicious and plentyful. We skipped lunch and went straight for an early dinner for both days of our stay. Tastefully decorated room with a private bathroom down the hall. We would love to stay here again. Our only complaint is the... More

We would like to respond to the guest comment regarding insufficient lighting in guest room. Unfortunately, these guests did not notice that the main light switch in the room included a dimmer switch. Since the dimmer switch was set on a low light position when they arrived and since the guests did not realize there was a dimmer switch, the... More

Diane is a lovely hostess and attentive BnB owner. The bed was Super comfortable giving us a great night sleep after a full day on the waterfront. Breakfast was very generous and a highlight of the day. A lovely place to stay about 15 minutes outside of Halifax!

Diane is a gracious host and made our stay special with her wonderful breakfasts every morning. She even catered to our gluten sensitivity by baking special muffins for us! The B&B is beautiful and well appointed and you'll have a very comfortable stay here. We stayed in the room with the private bathroom outside the room and it wasn't an... More

I had the privilege to spend two nights here while attending some training in the area. It is in a great location that enables travel to Bedford, Halifax, Fall River, and the airport. I learned it would be a great base for exploring the Halifax Municipality, South Shore, or Annapolis Valley. I was 10 minutes from my training facility in... More
