The location is excellent if you want some peace and relax by a lake. Staff is very friendly and the room is ok for the rate. The restaurant is very good. We tried the lasagna and was very well made and tasty. I wouldn't recommend to swim in the pool as you can see mold on the edges. They should... More

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your review and thank you for your compliments regarding our restaurant. It is our excellence. We really work hard to serve always fresh and tasty Italian and International food. I remember the event of te tire because I was right there that morning, trying to help you with my staff who changed the... More

Overall this was an excellent find. We only stayed one night but in the future we will stay here again with our mission teams. The quiet atmosphere from being out of the edge of Santiago is relaxing and the scenery is beautiful. The entire staff is welcoming and helpful.

We were on a road trip from Panama city to Bocas and stopped near Santiago for a one nighter. The Vista Lago was a nice find. It was clean, friendly, the restaurant was good and in a quiet area perfect fr a good nights sleep. THe FIlet Mignon was actually the best one I have had in Panama yet. Tender... More

We stayed at the Hotel Vista Lago for one night when we found ourselves stranded in Santiago when we missed the last express bus to David. We were grateful to find a bed for the night. The hotel is surrounded by a lake and would have been quite beautiful if it hadn't been a rainy day. We did enjoy watching... More

Many Panamanians consider Santiago the halfway point between David and Panama City, and it is a good place to stop. Especially since the road from Santiago to David is only two lanes and deteriorating...I prefer not to travel it at night. The Vista Lago is a good option for an overnight. Not expensive, decent restaurant, decent (basic) room, free wifi.... More

This hotel was new and very comfortable. The staff was exceptional, without exception. There are beautiful views of the lakes and nature trails too. Nice, quiet, out from the noise of the town. We enjoyed it.

On a recent trip to Chiriquí we stopped at this hotel looking for a decent place to eat lunch. The name was inviting, so was the web page and other information we found on the internet. Really, I would imagine it very difficult to run a hotel in that condition. It is in the middle of nowhere. We went in... More

We arrived after a long drive. We were shown to our room immediately and as it was lunchtime, we thought lunch would be a good idea. There was a convention going on in another room and we were asked to wait until they had finished serving them. We went away and came back half an hour later to find various... More

We just stopped for a while on our way to Panama City. Initial plans were to stay one night only, but under the spur of our babies we were delighted to spend one more. What to say. Simply perfect. Tidy rooms, wide and well organized restaurant with delicious hand made specialties and a lovely pool. My children were also stunned... More

Twice as restaurant and five days as base for a deep visit in the Veraguas. It was a nice discover because they give a really good service also for small details like a sandwich in strange hours or similar. The food is Italian, real one, not copy. The family who built the place and run the business is from Italy... More
