We stayed at the Talai mendi apartments last June. We booked with surfholidays.com and although they have many destinations we thought this sounded the best for what we were after.

Neither of us had ever surfed before so it was as good an option as any - but we both wanted to go to North Spain as we have heard so much about it.

The apartmentrs are aboutr a 10 minute walk into town - didnt really bother us. The accommodation in town is only with a few pensions and we wanted our own place. The apartments are brand new and are part of a culinary university - at lunch they have all kinds of specialities in the restaurant that we could taste - really different experience! We stayed in a one bed apartment instead of a studio - they've a full kitchen and a large living room with plasma screen and nice little balcony looking over the countryside. The apartmenmt complex is quiet and self-catering which suited us fine. There was parking although you don't really need a car... more
