We travelled in 2008 as part of a wedding party, the resort was hired out exclusively to the guests, my experience may be different if I were to stay as part of a smaller group. However, we found the location so beautiful, the panoramic views of the Tuscan hills were postcard, the villas were rustic and yet luxurious with a... More

This place is gorgeous. The resort has a HUGE property (on which itself there's a lot to explore). The cottage was large and very well decorated: built on two levels, lots of rooms, large living/dining rooms, and a great kitchen. The staff was helpful and cooperative, always smiling. The food is amazing (be sure to thank the mama who head... More

Great location for exploring Tuscan via leisurely car ride (1-plus hours to Volterra and Montalcino and easy 20-25 minutes Siena). Property is lovely and generally well-kept and the pictures on the web site are spot on. Food on-site is good . Very quiet when we were there. Will need a car. Don't expect over-attentive staff or a 5 star resort,... More

This property is beautiful. The olive trees, fruit trees, grapes, herbs and terracing demonstrate what can be done with the natural elements and restoration of old buildings. The Managing Director (Milena) is on site and makes certain everything is up to the 5 stars that Case del Borgo deserves. We were very fortunate to have been able to stay in... More

I stayed four nights. The resort is great for countryside lovers, people who love to sleep surrounded by the silence of the night and the fragrance of lavender. My villa was spacious, with two double bedrooms, and three bathrooms, one sitting room and kitchen, all in good taste. It doesn't come cheap though and some items in the restaurant are... More

We just returned from a stay here. This place is magical. Contrary to some other posts the food was perfect; duck, veal, chicken, lamb. We were a family of 4 2 adults and 2 small childrem the staff was excellent and helpful. I would recommend the halfboard you will not find a better meal and why try to drive around... More

Absolutely phenomenal. True it is hard to go wrong in Tuscany, but Le Case del Borgo get it oh so very right! 360 degree view is enough to make you want to never leave. Beautiful, simplistic, and luxurious decor. Service that never missed a beat - yet not pretentious. 5-star luxury with a feeling of home. We hosted 50 of... More

My wife and I recently had the privilege of spending a week in early May at Le Case del Borgo. It is an idyllic spot overlooking lush and beautiful countryside. The rooms-suites actually-were finished to an exacting standard. No expense, it seems, had been spared to ensure all creature comforts such as five different coffees were available in the rooms.... It's the second time within last 20 months I stayed with the family for a long week-end. One of the best experiences I have had in Italy! First of all, the property is a real ''must''. Serious homework was made by the owners about all the little details (decorations, gardens, swimming pool, etc.....) Excellent friendly service, international stuff (italians, dutch,... More

I really enjoyed my stay in the resort. Le Case del Borgo is located on the top of a hill, with a panoramic view on fabulous landscape. The accommodation was great, with all the modern facilities in a rustic atmosphere. The restaurant provided us with a remarkable local food made by the Mamas (ladies from the villages nearby, who are... More
