This is a nice rustic hotel. There is nothing special about this hotel except the exceptional value for money. The room was clean and had a nice fresh smell when one walked in. The amenities available are fine but as you would expect in the wilds of Ireland not so modern. However this gives the hotel a warm and comforting... More

We have eaten from the carvery here on several occasions and have always enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is very good and portions are generous( better than most carveries) and very reasonably priced. There is a good variety on the menu for both mains and desserts. The food is always served piping hot which... More

Stayed in this so called hotel last week-end,never again. The bedroom was furnished and decorated in the 50's and has'nt been updated since by the look of it. Very stuffy and curtains don't fit the sloping window so all the street light streams into the room,as for the matchbox size "en-suite" it is unreal.how anyone is expected to shower in... More

Good points: Breakfast was nice and service was friendly in the restaurant. Hotel looks quite nice from outside as well as the bar and restaurant. Location is good in the centre of Claremorris. Bad points: The room I stayed in is very old and worn, smells very 'fusty' and is in urgent need of a revamp. The carpets were filthy.... More
