After spending a long time reading reviews of different place I eventually decided to book a room in this hotel and I do no regret my chioce at all. My partner and I have a wonderful time at the Hotel mostly due to the accomodating and friendly nature of the staff. Our room was large, comfortable and well heated. The... more

This hotel frequently comes up in the wrong location on map searches. It is less than a five minute walk from the town centre and bus stop and 10 from the train station. Check the hotel's own website for special offers. We paid €75 for the 2 of us including breakfast staying in the school half-term holiday. We had a... more

Attended a family weddng at this hotel and originally booked to stay in a nearby B&B because the advertised price for a shared room at the hotel was 198 euros (as opposed to 35 euros pp in the B&B). Day prior to the wedding a family member called the hotel and was quoted a room price of 80 euros. We... more

Stayed here for a night on the way to donegal. Must say was very happy with the hotel. Had stayed last year also and had no complaint to make, but was a bit doubtfull after reading a few reviews. The receptiionist Mary was very helpful and gave us a lovely room and made a booking for us to stay on... more

This hotel is a busy place, so much so that breakfast is a riot, queing, waiting, pushing. Food gererally is ok-ish, nothing special. The room was a good size for adults with children. Pool fine, childs play room is a big plus, recommended. Staff are ok, nothing special. I would not rate it as a 4* hotel, maybe 3* just.... more

I stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was AWFUL. The first night memebers of the travelling community after drinking the hotel all night started fighting in the hotel grounds under the window of our room at 2.30am, the hotel did nothing to remove them. The second night the heavy metal music in the bar eminated all over... more

I am disappointed to read some recent reviews of this hotel. I stayed in the McWilliam Park Hotel for two days last week and found it to be a thoroughly pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel is new appointed and has all that one would expect from a four star. The rooms are a generous size and are clean and... more

Reading some of the more recent reviews here only one of them seems to have accurately captured what this hotel is like (see review titled "If not attending a wedding don't bother). I'd agree 100% with that. Some of the more recent recent reviews have said also its child friendly, absolutely agree with that statement! We arrived on a friday... more
