Recently spent a week in the Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge, the rustic cabins were clean, the shower was hot, the beds comfy and the owners went out of their way to provide us with anything we needed. They prepared special meals, in consideration to the diabetic traveling with us, helped us book a canoeing cave adventure, where we crossed a... More

My husband and I brought the New Year in at Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge and it was exactly what we were looking for. Our cabana backed up to the jungle and we woke every morning to the jungle birds singing, and ended every evening sitting on the screened in porch. The manicured grounds and jungle paths are equally beautiful. Ron... More

Ron and Al and their staff were the most accommodating hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge. Their recommendations are excellent and they will bend over backwards to meet the needs of their guests - let them make all your tour reservations and your meals. You're in good hands! The Lodge is well off the... More

We spent four nights at Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge to close out 2015 and welcome 2016. Our cabana was amazing with its conical thatch roof and decorative tile floor. It was nestled within the jungle flora in a way that provided a sense of isolation. The dining area was a pleasant place to meet the other guests and relax after... More

Just what we wanted from our being picked up at the airport to our departure back at the airport five days later! Ron and Al have a gem of a hideaway in the middle of the Belizean jungle- miles from anywhere. They have made comfortable cottages from thatched roof cabins and decorated them in quaint local style while keeping them... More

We had an amazing time at the Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge. The food was amazing and so was the experience. The staff helped us plan activities with no hassle and showed us around the property. There is river close by for tubing and the grounds have trails to explore. Just remember to bring the bug spray!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge for the Christmas holiday and were repeatedly blown away by our wonderful experience at the lodge. Lodging We stayed in a wonderful cabana. The cabana's are spread out on the grounds. So instead of hearing your neighbors you can enjoy the sounds of the jungle. The warm shower was nice... More

My friend and I visited Belize mid-November and unfortunately the rain hadn't stopped yet so we had intermittent weather that week. That said, the experience at the lodge was extremely memorable (in a pleasant way!) and the hosts were absolutely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. In hindsight the food was probably a main attraction as well, as local Belizean food can... More

We have visited every major ecosystem from the Arctic Circle to the Equator and this was a memorable experience. The staff was attentive and polite. The excursions on the five day package were outstanding. The food was excellent and the location is perfect. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with this trip and can't imagine a better time!

Macaw Bank feels like one of those places that just doesn't exist anymore. It's tucked far back into the jungle, off the grid, in complete undeveloped privacy. The jungle sounds at night are immediate, and completely wonderful. Every member of the staff really, personally, truly, wants you to have a good time. The food is plentiful and excellent, and all...
