We stayed here when our recent flight to Bali was cancelled at short notice, it was a Saturday night and the rates were attractive. Although we weren't in the CBD, the price did make up for it. The room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and the temperature in the room was fine - which is often an issue.... More

Very comfortable spacious rooms the staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very nice with many choices sure to be something for everyone. It is a short walk to restaurants and cafe's on High street you will be sure to find a place to have a nice meal with plenty of variety.

I have stayed a few times at this hotel (and previously when it was Rydges). Some of the larger rooms are really good, but some of the regular rooms - have extremely tiny bathrooms. Make sure you stay at Mantra and not the building next door - which is more for the budget traveler. The bed and pillows are comfortable... More

It's obvious from the moment you arrive that you've stepped into a hospital. Or what used to be a hospital. Four distinct wings, even the lifts are reminiscent of the old hospital. In saying that, it had been tastefully decorated and clever tricks to try and make the rooms seem larger. Mirrors on each end wall give the appearance of... More

Location was fine for where I had to do business. Check-in was painfully slow and one of my colleagues experienced a check in that took 30 minutes. Room was pleasant enough, I did notice they did not clean the bathroom properly. Restaurant and bar was nice.

Convenient location ,close to public transport to CBD . Twin room extremely small , able to touch wall from bed, bathroom tiny ensuite , only sliding glass door separating room and bath room , limited privacy would need to be close friend or family as room companion. Kitchenette adequate , cupboard and storage placement only accessible to very tall persons,... More

This is a great spot to stay if you’re in Melbourne on business and want to avoid the CBD. I needed someone not too far from the airport for a couple of nights and I was quite pleased with this place. The price was reasonable for what I got. There’s free parking on-site. The staff were reasonably friendly on arrival... More

The hotel was ok for a short stay clean but pretty basic. The hotel was a good location for the airport. I had a very unusual experience with one of the staff. Alex, she was extremely rude to me but never stopped trying to hit on my husband. Doubt I would stay there again.
