This is a modest hotel, but every attempt is made to meet the needs of tourists. The room is spacious and clean, wifi in the lobby, the owner is helpful. Hot water became available at our request . The breakfast was very nice, and we were able to buy a bottle of Jordanian wine from the hotel which was good... More

We feared our night at this hotel because of all the negative reviews left on tripadvisor. Actually, it was really not that bad! The lobby is very nice: well lighted, very clean with many plants all around. The room we had was quite nice too (except a hole in the ceiling but this details was definitely forgotten after we enjoyed... More

We arrived at this hotel with a lot of trepidation after reading all the negative comments (we booked it as it seemed the least worst in the area!). Our room was large and comfortable (there was even a fridge), clean and probably recently renovated. Even though it was at the front of the hotel, facing the road, we were not... More

I returned to Karak in April 2012, and once again, stayed at Al-Mujeb, with one night at the Karak Rest house. (See earlier review of Al-Mujeb). I had a different room this time, same decor, a mini fridge but no smell of sewer gas this time (thankfully!). Now it has two nearby restaurant options (plus the usual shops across the... More

is the best of the choice in Karak, friendly and relatively cheap hotel. hot running water, Bathroom looked nice, My room had a mini fridge, The hotel did have wireless, someone clean the room daily, (unfortunantly the troubles in the Middle East have kept tourists away from Jordan), Overall, livable. I've heard (from my colleagues) that the other hotels in... More

It probably is the best of the choices in Karak, but that's not saying much. Stayed here on business for four nights. Had one of the newly refurbished rooms. Bathroom looked nice, but smelled (sort of sewer gas?). We all ran for the bathrooms on the second night when there were reports of hot water. It was a hot trickle.... More

This is a very nice hotel, although if you do not have a car it is quite a long way from the castle. The staff could not have been more helpful. We were the only people staying in the hotel (unfortunantly the troubles in the Middle East have kept tourists away from Jordan) but they willingly openned the dinning room... More

An unpretentious, friendly and relatively cheap hotel. Perfectly acceptable level of cleanliness, hot running water, operational air conditioning, internet access in the lobby.
