This lodge combines the maximum comfort you can reasonably expect in jungle with great food, friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable guides, and fun and educational adventures. In the wild you probably see less animals that you imagine (especially monkeys) but that's not the lodge problem. Strongly recommend!

It starts with a warm welcome at the Iquitos airport, frozen in time with old douglas propellor planes, an aqua plane and a helicopter. There is a porter who "collects " you by name as you enter this hangar and you know the Curassow hospitality starts rolling and only gets better. An option to freshen up after an all night... More

We were there for a 6 days expedition. We had a great time in Curassow Amazon Lodge. Staff are very helpful. Jazmin, the reservations manager, solved all our questions before go the lodge. At the jungle, Leon the manager was very helpful too. The guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The rate seems to be expensive comparing with tours in Cusco,... More

We just returned from 5d/4n's at Curassow Lodge and loved it. Such a relaxing "Sloth filled" adventure. The accommodation is very nice with plenty of areas to relax in hammocks etc. we had the whole place to ourselves and the cook really impressed us with her skills at accommodating our vegetarian needs. It was some of the best food we... More

The day was perfect and the staff very friendly we navigated the Itaya, Nanay, and Amazon river with spectacular views (if you are lucky you might even see the pink and grey amazon dolphin) We also got to feed caimans and giant amazon fish among... I heard about Curassow through a friend who does lots of jungle excursions. He said that is was the best one he has been to and still really reasonably priced. Jazmin was great at comunicating with us and I really appreciated how much she helped us before, durring, and after our stay. They took very good care of us, with... More

I was really amazed - it was a simple clean and well equipped living place basically in the middle of the liveliest jungle. I loved sitting on the balcony after sunselt listening to the sounds of the jungle.
