We stayed here 2 nights, hotel was easy to find and could easily be seen from the arriving ferry. We were welcomed on arrival by Ramazan who was expecting us. Our small ensuite room was clean with a tv, hairdryer, hot water, soap and shampoo dispensers. The buffet breakfast was simple and enjoyable including hard boiled and scrambled eggs, cheeses,... The location is great for bus travellers from Istanbul or Izmir with big signs on the building so you cannot miss it from the ferry terminal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged an excellent Gallipoli tour. Only negatives: Rooms are very basic, breakfast was very simple and there is regular traffic noise.

The folk at Crowded House couldn't have been more helpful, laid-back and friendly. I'd arrived weary from a London flight followed by a 6 hour bus journey to Gallipoli to find a tour of the battlefields leaving straightaway. The staff let me unload my bags in room and join the tour. Payment later was no worries! The tour was the... More

I stayed there last summer (took me a while to write my review) but i definitely enjoyed my stay ! the staff is friendly and helpful, and will try to accomodate you as much as possible. The rooms are clean, breakfast is good, and they offer transportation directly to your next hostel in istanbul if that's your next destination.

Stayed overnight at the Crowded House hotel and had fun. The room we stayed in was basic, clean but wasn't sound proof from the music in the restaurant but we didn't mind. The staff at the hotel restaurant were great, able to help us out learning the basic turkish phases and very accomodating. Good location to go on a Gallipoli... More

Thanks alot, was very happy with both hotel and tour to Gallipoli - staff kindly arranged for me to be picked up on Asian side of Istanbul and delivered me back to get last ferry across the Bosphorus the following evening ... hotel room was very clean, bed very comfortable and both breakfast and lunches were good value, very tasty... Our stay at Crowded House was mixed. It's name is likely taken from the name of an Aussie/NZ band, so we were expecting some real Kiwi/Down-under type of hospitality (warm and friendly) as we were there to see Gallipoli. On arrival the person checking us in, was friendly but pushing their tour when all we wanted to do was get... More

We stayed at the Crowded House for 1 night on our trip around Turkey. The hotel was good value for money, the rooms were basic but comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a reasonable selection (bread, boiled eggs, cheese, salad, watermelon etc.) We chose to eat our evening meal at the hotel restaurant which had... More

We stayed in the Crowded House hotel as part of a trip by 'Ancient Kingdoms holidays' to Gallipoli and Troy. There were five of us, ----- my husband and I in one room, and three young adults in another. Both rooms were basically furnished, but were VERY clean, and certainly comfortable for a short stay. Each room had its own... More

We stayed at the Hotel Crowded House for 2 nights in August 2013. It was cheap! But I wish I had found another hotel in the area whilst I was searching on line. We were travelling from the UK to Cyprus on our Motorbike & it was a very convenient location for the battlefields & the ferry. The entrance to... More
