I understand this is a budget hotel.Rooms /restaurants are really crowded but location is excellent.Just minutes away from the ferry and a mini market.Eceabat is a small town and the hotel is right in the centre of it. Staff are extremely friendly and the offer informative tours to Gallipolli and their vans have wifi.

Got off bus in Eceabat before it drove onto the ferry to head across the water to Canakkale. Was very happy to find a vacancy for 2 nights without having a reservation. Small room, but was quaint. Comfortable double bed w/ a new flat screen tv and lovely wall prints. Enjoyed playing backgammon one night in the front lobby. Lunch... More

The location is very handy. The rooms are very tiny. Bed are really comfortable, a big plus. Generally clean but our sink was very dirty, with sand in it; the shower doesn't close properly and 3 of our group got food poisoning possibly related to the hotel. Windows don't seal properly so it can be really noisy and cold. Not... More

This Hotel is very conveniently located for battlefield visiting, right beside the bus and ferry links and handy to township cafes. Ramazan and his staff were very welcoming, attentive and helpful throughout my four day stay and prior to my journey gave good advice by email. The small room had good aircon and shower and a small view of the... More

The Hilton it is not but its clean and hospitality is great. Where this place excels is in the host's ability to make your stay both in Istanbul and the general Gallipoli area so much better than a big tour company might arrange. Ramazan organized my accommodation in Istanbul at the Oba Hotel (a very good choice), a one day... More

Crowded House was everything I expected. Pick up from my hotel in Istanbul straight to their hotel. Handy to the ferry port (1 minute walk) for Cannukale. The tour they organised to see Gallipoli included lunch next door and the guide was mind glowingly informative The room was clean, comfortable and the shower power was great. The management were very... More

My room was quite comfy and the shower had the strongest spray that I encountered while in Turkey. Air conditioner worked - yay! Only negative was that the lights were motion activated, and it seemed like they were a little slow to come on, so we were often walking in the dark. My room was at the back of the... More

If you can avoid, don't stay here. The standard of accommodation at CHH is very poor. Rooms and shower tiny, limited hot water, no lift to move luggage into rooms, poor lighting in stairwell, dogs howling all night, pretty ordinary breakfast

Every complaint helps us to improve ourselves. We learned from this review as well. I just wan to clarify a couple of points. Rooms of our hotel are not very big. This is written in every site that sells our rooms. But our hot water is a legend. You can find many reviews that are saying Hotel Crowded House has... More

pros: efficient friendly staff, clean comfy rooms, buffet breakfast, good location for Cannakale ferry- (5 minutes walk) cons: bring ear plugs as there are small logging houses for what seem to be locals who like to compete with their music well into the early hours- not blaming Crowded House for this- its just unfortunate! Even with double glazing closed windows and... More
