Great hostel in the heart of Gallipoli Peninsula, perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. Recommendations for activities and tours by staff was spot on, the room was not huge but the beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar area was a lovely place for an Efes and I thought the breakfast was... More

We stayed at the Crowded House Hotel for one night in April. We were in Turkey for a whirlwind tour of Istanbul and decided to do a tour of Gallipoli while we were there. The town of Eceabat isn’t much to write home about, but the Crowded House Hotel was fresh and modern with friendly staff. There is a small... More

Stayed in triple room that would be a single anywhere else, it was cramped the bunks were unstable and for the 90 euro's we paid was a clearly a loading up of the price for Anzac Day. Breakfast was a shocker with only some cold crap and the tours were well over 30% more than RSL tours operating over the... More

Having travelled through Turkey for almost a month this is the worst value place I have stayed at. Rooms are small, basic and clean but way over priced. The worst breakfast I've had since I've been here too. On the plus side they use excellent guides for their Troy and Gallipoli tour. Actually I'd suggest staying over the water at... More

My fiance and I had originally booked to stay 4 nights but because of health issues we could only stay 3, the staff were more than happy to refund the extra night and the tour booked. The staff were always friendly and were happy to help all the time. Ziya (the person who runs the hotel) was fantastic, he organised... More

We stayed in a twin room which was small but clean. Location was good, being close to the port (with ferries to Cannakale) and road into the Gallipoli/ANZAC beaches. There is parking available for free with space for about 2-3 cars. Staff were friendly and helpful. A basic continental breakfast was free and also included hard boiled eggs, cold deli... More

Pauli is a great host and you quickly feel like one of his friends, especially if he takes you out for a meal or a drink at the boomerang bar. He'll keep you entertained with his travel stories. The hostel is very clean & warm (it was cold!) and comfortable. The tour of Gallipoli was excellent.

The guys at this hotel were very helpful, they organised a pick up from our hotel in Istanbul to the bus station then organised our tickets from the bus station to their hotel, and our booking of 200 euro included 3 nights accomodation in a private double room with TV and shower, free breakfast (toast, tea, with jam, honey and... The rooms are basic but reasonably modern. The sleep quality was good and it wasn't too noisy, although we did hear a couple in another room late at night and early in the morning. The bathroom is pretty small. Breakfast was good and the wifi was fast.

I stayed at the Crowded House Hotel in May 2011. They organised my pickup from a hotel in Istanbul, transport to the bus depot, a ticket from Istabul to Eceabat, greeting at the bus stop and taken to the hotel, plus a full day tour of the Gallipoli battlefields. They also aranged for me to return to Istanbul and be... More
