This was one of our highlights of our 7 week holiday across Europe. These small guest houses are nestled among a tiny rural village. From the back patio you can enjoy sunset behind the ridge, with battlefield monuments silhouetted in the distance. The rooms themselves are lovely and spacious. If you have the opportunity to enjoy a dinner, definitely partake,... More

We stayed at this small guesthouse for a night in September 2015 after driving from Istanbul and before our tour of the battlefields. We were hot and tired after the drive and were amazed when Ozlem suggested we pop down to Anzac Cove for a swim( this was only 10 minutes away by car). The guesthouse is situated near a... More

Spent 3 nights with Eric and Ozlem. They are magnificent hosts providing guidance and advice on touring the area. Eric has an intimate knowledge of the Gallipoli campaign and places of interest. The accommodation and the whole ambiance of the place is very comfortable and quite homely. Breakfasts were wholesome and the dinner provided a nice sample of local cuisine.... More

The fact that this was our sixth visit says it all! This hotel is in the very best location for exploring the battlefields. It is clean, very comfortable and the rooms have stunning views of the countryside and Gun Ridge. The star gazing terrace is the ideal place for pre dinner drinks and sunset watching. The food is freshly prepared... More

Loved everything about the Gallipoli Houses. Very friendly hosts that went the extra mile. Our bus from Eceabat was very late and we arrived about 11pm. As we'd missed dinner they brought a delicious meal to our room....so much that we had half for lunch the next day. The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated...with white walls and lots of timber,... More

We had a magical three nights at Gallipoli Houses, and can't recommend the staff, service, food, location, atmosphere or setting more highly. The interaction with fellow guests over dinner, reflecting on a day's exploration of the battlefields, adds infinitely to the experience. If you have an opportunity to visit this amazing place - DO IT!

The Gallipoli Houses are set in a small village 10 minutes drive from the ANZAC area. The old houses have been converted to comfortable rooms that have an old style touch without distractions of the modern electronic age. If you have a car and want to explore the region of the Gallipoli Campaign this is a great base. Unfortunately dinner... More

Excellent hotel in a lovely setting. Eric hosts a wonderful stay and is full of local knowledge to help your battlefield tour. It's perfectly situated for this. Accommodation is lovely, rooms fresh and clean. Food was excellent and a wonderful selection of local dishes.

Another great stay at the Gallipoli Houses unfortunately Ozlem wasn't available due to an operation but Eric and his staff made sure everything still ran smoothly lovely food and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Even thought this was our second stay Eric still has plenty off useful tips when going exploring hopefully will make another trip in a few years.

The Gallipoli Houses are set within a small hamlet about twenty minute's drive from Eceabat and consist of a number of self contained individual apartments/flats in some lovely traditional buildings set in their own grounds that easily disguise the fact that they are under ten years old. There is a comfortable communal seating area within the reception building and a... More
