As its name indicates, The Gallipoli House is well located for those wishing to tour the killing sites of this more-than-usually tragic battle. My wife and I were late contacting the Gallipoli Houses on one of our last nights in Turkey. Fortunately, we were able to book a room even though it was a second-floor walkup (I'd have preferred no... More

Three of us booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. We planned to tour the Gallipoli Peninsula concentrating on the battlefields of the ANZAC Campaign. Our hosts, Eric and Ozlem, had given us a great deal of relevant information in the months leading up to our trip and we arrived well prepared for our adventure. The rooms were exquisite - bright.... We were on a private tour and we came from Istanbul to the hotel. Roads were wonderful and the route was very scenic. I was so impressed with the Gallipoli Houses from the moment we arrived. My room was quaint and well appointed. The set menu was delightful as was breakfast. The rooms were clean and fresh. Good selection of... More

We drove from the Istanbul airport and were delighted with the countryside. Good roads and a relatively easy four hour drive. Eric, our host gave us the GPS coordinates and we had no trouble finding the guesthouses. We loved our room and the surrounding village. Friendly dogs and locals, munching cows and very peaceful. Since we didn't know what time... More

I was struggling to think of any criticisms of this place. One of our party didn't like his banana syllabub for dessert - but he doesn't like bananas anyway and the rest of us loved it - so that won't do. I did find one minor criticism (see below) but basically we loved this place and recommend it highly. We... More

This hotel was recommended to us by our travel agent back in Australia because it is centrally located to all the major historical WW1 battle sites on the Gallipoli peninsular. The hotel is in amongst a small cluster of buildings in a rural setting where only the noise of the nearby farm animals can be heard. The welcome we received... More

The rooms are spacious and well designed in this spectacularly sited set of buildings in the beautiful Gallipolli National Park. The shower is really great...but bring your own shower cap! We ate dinner there both nights and were rather disappointed in the quality of the food, although a lovely cream sponge birthday cake was provided. The hosts are helpful and... More

WE stayed two nights at this lovely property and enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and spacious, the food at breakfast and dinner was both fresh and local and extremely well presented. The pricing of both food and wind at dinner was more than reasonable and the service was great. The team at Gallipoli Houses went out... More

I stayed at this hotel four nights and found it to be the most welcoming, pleasant hotel with excellent meals, service and assistance. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation on the Gallipoli Peninsula. The managers have extensive local knowledge of the ANZAC sites, and are wonderful hosts. Absolutely beautiful.

Spent 3 nights early May 2014, twin share. Great hosts and friendly staff. Well appointed rooms and nice quiet location. Meals very nice indeed. Thankyou Eric and Oslem and good luck in the future with everything. Ian Gill
