The Gallipoli Houses are set in a small village 10 minutes drive from the ANZAC area. The old houses have been converted to comfortable rooms that have an old style touch without distractions of the modern electronic age. If you have a car and want to explore the region of the Gallipoli Campaign this is a great base. Unfortunately dinner... More

Excellent hotel in a lovely setting. Eric hosts a wonderful stay and is full of local knowledge to help your battlefield tour. It's perfectly situated for this. Accommodation is lovely, rooms fresh and clean. Food was excellent and a wonderful selection of local dishes.

Another great stay at the Gallipoli Houses unfortunately Ozlem wasn't available due to an operation but Eric and his staff made sure everything still ran smoothly lovely food and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Even thought this was our second stay Eric still has plenty off useful tips when going exploring hopefully will make another trip in a few years.

The Gallipoli Houses are set within a small hamlet about twenty minute's drive from Eceabat and consist of a number of self contained individual apartments/flats in some lovely traditional buildings set in their own grounds that easily disguise the fact that they are under ten years old. There is a comfortable communal seating area within the reception building and a... More

This great little hotel is located in a small village not far from Eceabat. It's perfectly situated for exploring the Gallipoli battlefields. The village itself, Kocadere, is a 'genuine' experience, with lazy dogs and wandering chickens to keep you company. The hotel owners are friendly and very helpful for planning your activities, they leant me a map and guidebook as... More

Your hosts Eric and Ozlem may not be able claim bragging rights for the exquisite location of the Gallipoli Houses as a gateway to the Anzac sector battlefields, but they are entitled to claim the credit for just about everything else that makes your stay utterly memorable. Having been their guests for three nights, we are able to recommend this... More

Stayed at The Gallipoli Houses whilst visiting the battlefields and to commemorate the death of a great uncle killed fighting with the Cameronians exactly 100 years previously. As others have said Eric is a affable host, the rooms are spacious (particularly liked the "rain shower" and water pressure) and decent breakfast in the morning. We stayed when Eric''s wife was...
