We didn't really have any good experiences with this hotel. The shower was cold (even after discussing with staff), the beds were very uncomfortable (mattresses old and worn out), and the windows did not seal properly, meaning we were treated (all night) to the sounds of gale force winds outside the hotel, and a cold breeze inside the hotel room.... The only positive for this hotel is the location to the battlefields. As soon as we opened the door to our room, the beds did not have fresh linen, the last guest still had his shoes and clothes in the room, the room was not cleaned and the bathroom was also mouldy and smelly. Tried to change rooms but were... More

This hotel is at a great location in front of the sea and ferry terminal.Overall its a clean and nice hotel.Top floor restaurant gives a chance to have a nice view of the sea and surroundings.Staff except the manager was unable to speak English but was very cooperative and willing to serve. The manager Oly was so nice that she allowed... We stayed here for one night on a tour of Gallipoli. It was ok. Rooms were reasonably clean and hotel staff was friendly. There are really no restaurants on the Ecebat side of the channel so we ended up taking the ferry (2 lira, 30 minute ride) across the Cannekale for dinner and drinks. I'd recommend anyone staying in this... More

We had little choice as to where to stay in Eceabat. Due to the time of day and the fact that we needed to stay close to the ferry we had no choice but to stay at the "Grand" Eceabat hotel. The only thing this place had going for it is its location. As soon as we walked into our... More

We stayed 2 nights here so that we could do a tour of Gallipoli and Troy. Hotel is ok, nothing fancy but we weren't staying here for the hotel. It was clean and we got a room overlooking the ferry dock and water which was nice. wifi was included but basically non existent, cuts out all the time. Breakfast was... More

We were just here for about 4hrs before heading to Gallipoli for ANZAC day. The hot water didn't work and the bathroom wasn't very clean (quite a lot of mildew). Compared to other hotels in Turkey, this was a very expensive room, presumably because of the high numbers of tourists at this time of year. In all, this hotel served... More

My tour agency Road Runner in Istanbul booked this hotel, to connect with my two day tour of Troy and Gallipoli. The hotel was fine. My room gave onto the waterfront and ferry landing. It was very interesting. The weather in early April was unusually cold, windy and rainy, so the top floor dining-room was a little chilly. The room... More

I've never written a poor review on this site before, there are enough spoiled princesses and malcontents to cover most of the ground, but in the case of the Grand Hotel Eceabat I must make an exception. We were due to stay in this place as part of a two day trip to Gallipoli and Troy. The entire building was... More

If needed to stay close to Gallipoli then sure stay here but apart from that this hotel doesn't have much to offer. Better jumping on ferry and going over to other bigger town in cannakale. We had lunch and breakfast here and both meals where of low standards. There are not many restaurants close to hotel and staff were not... More
