We went on an Rsl tour of Gallipoli sites and this hotel is owned by the company. If you can do the tour and avoid the hotel, do it. The room was clean and basic. The carpet was threadbare. The bathroom was refurbished but no ventilation so you could see and smell the mould. All this would have been tolerable... More

Before you read my review go to 'Shebshop - Bargepole long enough.' 7 March 2013 review. Aside from being hysterically funny it is all true! This hotel is like something from an Eastern bloc country with food to match. A blob of tomato paste and last nights peas and strips of dubious looking processed meat mixed in mayonnaise! And extra... More

For a trip to Troia or the Gallipoli battlefields this is ideally located. But as a hotel it's down-at-heel, serving poor quality meals and urgently needing refurbishment. They provide slippers in the bedrooms, and they need to, given the state of the carpets. I didn't mind staying here as a base for a battlefield tour, but I'd not stay there... More

We did not choose this hotel as it was part of a package deal to visit Gallipoli. The breakfast was very limited and the dinner unappetising .... if you have a choice, choose elsewhere. The internet worked very spasmodically but I must say that the bed was fine. We had a room facing the port so unfortunately we had to... More

I had a truly great experience at this hotel, I've never experienced such kindness and service, especially when in desperate need. First off, it's in a great location in Eceabat, right across from the ferry terminal. When I arrived the staff were very welcoming. I was about to start the RSL 1-day tour to Gallipoli (I'll review this separately) and... More

The Grand Eceabat is basic, but clean and comfortable. Water was hot for morning and evening showers ( stayed 9 nights), restaurant/bar great food and fantastic views and decking. I stayed in a single room- double bed, comfy and clean. Room tidied daily and towels replaced. Effective air conditioner, windows that open, heated towel rack which dried undies, socks and... More

We stayed at the Grand Eceabat Hotel as part of a group of 30 during a visit to Gallipoli leading up to Anzac Day 2014. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and delicious. The Cultural Evening they put on was very entertaining!! (Wifi could be a bit patchy at times - it was usually... We didn't really have any good experiences with this hotel. The shower was cold (even after discussing with staff), the beds were very uncomfortable (mattresses old and worn out), and the windows did not seal properly, meaning we were treated (all night) to the sounds of gale force winds outside the hotel, and a cold breeze inside the hotel room....
