the staff was friendly, the location is good, parking is no problem, the breakfast is simple but sufficient, the hotel clean (even if it looks a little bit worn down from the outside), nice thing: a balcony only drawback: a very small bed, but that's ok for a night or so

If you feel a little nostalgic about the communism, that’s the hotel for you. The hotel looks like left in the 80`s. Of course in those times it was a good hotel. The rooms are small, not very clean, it has air conditioning if you pay an additional 10 euro for a day, old tv with few channels, the free... More

Only stayed one night and the hotel seemed deserted! But the hotel was actually OK. The room was nothing amazing but for the price it was about right. We didn’t have any problems checking in or out and in the restaurant the food was acceptable. We got a decent night’s sleep and were able to buy supplies from a supermarket... More

The hotel is more or less one of the most important in the small town of Curtea de Arges, even in the 1330 this town was the first capital city of one region of Romania. The hotel is very near the Monastery and near the town center. They made an refurbisment of it so the leaving conditions are OK. The... More

Hotel was clean and basic. Bed comfortable but duvet was quite small for the two of us. Staff very friendly. The only downside is that our room had a subtle smell of cigarette smoke. However we didn't specifically ask for a non smoking room so maybe this was our fault. Happy to stay here again if we find ourselves in... More

The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable, rooms were tiny, NO phone in the rooms?! what is the deal with that?! The front desk staff were ok, the restaurant downstairs lacked any ambiance/life, but the wait staff was nice, the food was good and cheap. I would not return to this hotel, and I would not recommend it either. We only... More

Very nice service, cosy and clean rooms, high-speed wifi access, location close to the city center. The breakfast wasn`t the best I`ve eaten while in Romania, but wide choice different kinds of food levels that. Overall 4/5.

The staff there were so great! I arrived with 2 kids and had very pleasant stay. Even though we came to breakfast a little late they cooked especially for us and still let us have breakfast. The room was cozy with all we needed and for really good price. There was mutual balcony for 3 or 4 rooms, but nevertheless... More

Located at the base of Transfagarasan (a beautiful road through the mountains) Arges town is small and quiet. Hotel Posada is in the middle of town and offers many places. It is a clean hotel with normal food, not great but not bad. Services are very good and the hotel staff are very welcoming.
