Borgo Giusto is a picturesque hamlet located deep in the Tuscan country side. The buildings have been restored and modernized, but their original characteristics have been retained. Everything is within easy reach, and the welcoming rooms and apartments are well-maintained and very clean. Facilities include a swimming pool, bar and restaurant, which are run by friendly, helpful staff. Food is... More

Borgo Giusto is an enchanting, unique spot. The apartments are comfortable and clean and the surrounding Tuscan countryside is truly spectacular. There are some breathtaking views of the mountains. All modernizatons - including a pool, bar and restaurant - are in keeping with the Borgo's original architecture and the friendly, capable staff do a very good job of making you... More

The Borgo is absolutely unique, each of the houses of the old village has been restored and turned into rooms or suites so even though everything is easily within reach, each suite is naturally isolated from the rest. The pool has stunning views of the tuscan mountains and has been integrated in the Borgo respecting the original architecture. At the... More

This place is better for family holiday otherwise for adults it is pretty boring. The hiking paths described are not practicable, they are literally wild paths with far too many wasps and horseflies. The accommodations are not very clean, we had a scorpion nest in ours, so we had a disinfestation. Obviously we didn't enjoy our stay, specially screaming children... More

We were staying at a holiday villa just down the road and when we discovered Borgo Guisto we were delighted - lovely setting and restaurant on our door step. Chose it as our final night location which proved to be a big mistake. We were given no menu but made aware we would be served an aperativo (pre meal snacks)... More

A hidden gem, indeed. Beautiful location, friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was OK, but not great. The breakfast slightly above average. I would recommend the Borgo in a heartbeat, but the downside was that there were just too many families with kids there. The place could be absolutely fantastic if it tried to cater... More

Really beautiful setting as all the previous reviews state. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. Arriving on a motorbike we were greeted with a steep 200m winding road which had fresh, 6 inch deep gravel. This gave us huge problems when we met a car coming down. Very dangerous for a large bike, two up and fully loaded with luggage... More

Outside the Borgo Giusto is a wonderfull location in the mountains, with a very nice swinning pool. We stayed in Casa Rela : very little room - no airco - very little bathroom - different kind of insects on the floor and the wall. The breakfast was very moderate : no eggs - no bread - no fresh fruit -... More

We highly recommend a visit to Borgo Giusto! We had an amazing time staying in Casa di Bettina with our 5 month old twins. The staff were truly accommodating, the food was excellent, the spa was totally relaxing and the views are to die for. It's also a great location to explore the surrounding areas including Lucca, Cinque Terre and... More

Staying in this little hamlet, lost in the mountains just 25 mins away from gorgeous Lucca was amazing, great place to hike or just to stop and see nature and think about your place in life. Would have loved to stay longer. The staff was amazingly courteous. Restaurant is only one for dinner with a short menu, which could benefit... More
