We arrived to Meniñas beach walking from Fisterra throught the amazing Caminho dos Faros. Hoster came to the beach with her car and drove to the hotel, which is lovely with confortable bed and fantastic shower. You enjoyed very much the dinner (do not miss the "navajas"). Good breakfast and wishing to come back soon. Remarkable place.

A beautiful renovated farmhouse guest house in an outstanding setting. Mari-Carmen has made this into an all-round treasure, from the tastefully furnished rooms with great showers and comfortable beds, to the excellent food which is all home-prepared. Because there is no restaurant closer than Muxia, Fontequieroso offers a three-course evening meal, which though a set menu was excellent and different... More

After walking on the Camino de Santiago, we were looking for a place to relax. This was just the spot! Maria was extremely welcoming. The room was well decorated, clean, and comfortable with a great shower in the bathroom. It is also set in a lovely rural area, which was good to explore. On top of all that, Maria offers... More

The best place in "costa da morte" to stay peacefully and enjoy superb home-made food. The house is a little difficult to find but that is the tax you have to pay for feeling out of the bad things of the world. I strongly recommed to have dinner in the house (book in advance) and once satisfied go for a... More

We stayed in this rural hotel only for one night on May 2014. The hotel and rooms are well designed and decorated with taste. Our room had installed and old fashion iron fireplace (operated with gas). Bed was comfortable. The bathroom, room and common areas were impeccable clean. Free parking was provided in front of the hotel. Wi Fi was... More

On booking Casa Fontequieroso after reading reviews on Tripadvisor, we finally arrived after a long trip through Galicias wonderful landscape. Off the beaten track we arrived to a wonderful friendly reception from Mari Carmen and her young lady assistant.Food was being prepared and after a quick change in our lovely room, supper was served within minutes. A wonderful, warm welcome by Maria - offer of coffee on arrival, in our room Maria had placed a small bottle of champagne and sprinkled petals on the bed. The room was clean, beds comfortable and shower room spotlessly clean. We were offered an evening meal, which was excellent as was breakfast. Maria gave us a map of the local... More

We booked into the Casa Fontequeiroso for one night in order to explore the Galician coast and enjoyed the accommodation so much, we extended our stay for another night. This is a beautiful home, close to a wonderful beach and coastline and within easy travelling distance to many interesting sites in the area. The Casa is well marked from the... More

Maricarmen of Casa Fontequeiroso is an excellent host. Not only is she a great cook, she also pays attention to detail. When we told her that we were going to see the sunset at Cabo Touriñan she packed two glasses and a small bottle of champagne and turned our sun-set-viewing into a romantic get-away. I can highly recommend this place.

We booked two nights at the Fontequerioso on the basis of previous reviews, but our experience surpassed expectations. It is idyllically situated, off the beaten track with fantastic hiking to the coast from the front door. Our hostess extended the warmest, most generous hospitality throughout our stay: we were made to feel completely at home whilst enjoying a high, unobtrusive... More
