I stayed at the Post House for 3 nights as I was attending a re-enactment weekend nearby. I was given a really warm welcome by Susan who once I was checked in brought me and my colleague travelling with me, though not staying, a tray of most welcome tea! Michael carried my case up to my room which was a... More

Stayed here for one night. Incredible value with welcoming hosts. The rooms was comfortable and well equipped with lots of little touches like free chocolates and sweets in the room. The bed linen was of the highest possible standard and their were nice toiletries in the en-suite (and an amazing shower!) I was given excellent directions to a variety of... More

I arrived at the Post House in the middle of Ibstock village and was warmly welcomed by the owner, Susan who runs a four star guest house worthy of its four star grading. I was quickly booked in and given all of the relevant information and shown to my room. Pleasantly furnished with good lighting and a large double bed... More

Have just returned from spending two nights at The Post House. We received such a warm welcome and a very welcome cup of tea. Our room was gorgeous with so many extra touches, very cozy and comfortable. My Mother in law was along the corridor in another lovely room. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back, thank you... More

For a short break in Leicestershire this is an excellent location. The post house is easy to find on the Main Street in Ibstock, next to the post office. The accommodation is excellent, warm and cosy, the room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Everything you need is on hand. Tea and coffee making, plus biscuits and bottles water... More

We stayed here for one night prior to attending a funeral in Nottingham. Great central location, easily found yet quiet and secluded. Warm welcome by owner Sue and shown to a beautifully presented room. All 'mod cons' and extra touches such as crisp white towels bound with ribbon and complimentary chocolate, biscuits with the complimentary hot drinks, bottled water, free... More

Nice little touches: compimentary chocolate with towels, which themselves are good quality; plenty of biscuits coffee, tea and water etc. Breakfast: 1st class, ample fruit salad with many different fruits, including strawberries; superb full English breakfast; my wife wanted porridge and it was... Due to work commitments I have had to be away from home for 6 weeks at a time, so since the 18th August I have been staying at the Post Office B & B, this could have been quite difficult for me, but the Rudkin family have made me so welcome and put them selves out on many occasions, that... More
