After viewing this condo online, we thought it looked updated and decorated nicely. This wasn't totally the case. The view is great with whale breaching quite close and the turtles swimming just feet away from the bulkhead. However, 203 really needs some kind of ambiance. There was minimal everything, except towels. No condiments except for salt and pepper. The bedroom... More

Stayed in unit 306 in November which we rented through VRBO. The unit was in excellent condition with a direct view of Maalea Bay. The agent had left us some banana bread, coffee and jam which was very welcome. It was well stocked with essentials such as dishes, silverware, linens and laundry detergent, dish soap, binoculars. WiFi worked well. There... More

Mesmerizing views from this clean 1 bdrm. Surf was rough and high. Haleakala and the cloud cover were seen directly across our unit which was over the pool. Great vacation spot. Walk over to salbatins for early bird meal.

We stayed at 205 for two weeks over Christmas and New Year's. We loved the location! Ma'alaea is so central to everything. Walking Sugar Beach in the mornings and taking time to watch the turtles was wonderful. We walked over to the harbor shopping area and had dinner at Beach Bums. Great food and great service :) The only complaint... More

We stayed in unit 406 for 11 days this September. The condo has everything for a comfortable stay. I sat every morning on the balcony to watch the sun rise over Haleakala, for which this unit is perfectly situated. We grilled at the seaside bbq most nights and then ate at the patio table nearby. This unit had reserved underground... More

My wife and I stayed 7 days in Milowai #404 for our honeymoon. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The unit was comfortable and clean. We did some grocery shopping and ate many of our meals in. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and dishes/pans. We made great use of the ocean-side BBQs. The unit has... More

Super comfortable location. Our 13th visit to Maui and we have stayed many places, but our favorite is on Ma'alaea. This condo was perfect. Luxury, well equipped, free parking, super clean, and walking to the harbor shops to eat or walking Sugar Beach was exactly what we wanted. Loved the view and also seeing the whales. We would definitely return.

This property has everything you need. It is a one bedroom condo with an updated kitchen. You may not be able to get away from the ocean view on the lanai however to go enjoy all this unit has to offer. The whale watching was amazing and we did not have to leave to enjoy it. The kitchen is well... More

My husand and I are just finishing up a week at Milowai, unit #311,in Maalea. This is our first visit to Maui and we are extremely pleased with the location and the condo we rented through HomeAway. It is a large, beautifully appointed unit with every amenity. The owners are easy to contact and very helpful. Maalaea is well-situated on... More

We just recently stayed at the Milowai # 404. The pictures on the website are completely accurate. This place is clean and comfortable. The view from the lanai is just like the one on the website. The location is great if you plan to tour the island. It is centrally located, and in a quiet area. The only sounds you... More
