If you are like us and you do not want to stay in a trendy hotel in the city, then this is the place for you. We were so happy that we did not stay in Selcuk. Sirince is a quaint village with narrow cobblestone streets, market, beautiful views, and history. Omer and Charlotte were gracious, professional, and helpful. They... More

Charlotte and Omer own four small cottages at the top of a hill overlooking a really pretty valley which is the village of Sirince. The village is really pretty - cobbledy streets, a church, and a market full of everything you'd expect at reasonable prices and very un-pushy market-stall owners. The cottages themselves have been lovingly restored and filled with... More

We spent 3 nights at the Terrace Houses and can't give the house or Charlotte and Omer enough praise. The Fig House has a wonderful view, comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The decor was charming and it even had a working fireplace! Nothing we asked was too much trouble for Charlotte and Omer - they arranged cars... More

I'm afraid I am not eloquent enough to express how lovely our stay in the Terrace Houses was. Charlotte and Omer have designed their houses with great care, and we felt truly lucky to be able to stay in their cozy cabin with beautiful views and so many touching details. Don't even get me started on the amazing three-course (four?)... More

We spent two nights in Terrace Houses and really appreciated the hospiltality of our guests and the charming old place, which has been well restored. The view on the village is gorgeous. A place to recommend.

Wonderful experience. Located in Sirince - small village of 600 only people in mountains near Selcuk (nr the Ephesus Ruins). Great Owners - Couple Charlotte ( english ) and Omer ( turkish ). Excellent fresh cooked food and beds. Separate houses- very clean and wonderful hospitality. Outside eating - terrific views from terrace.

A beautifully restored set of houses, in a picturesque village on the Turkish hillside. Charlotte and Omer were wonderful hosts, providing advice on the local area as well as the best meals we had in Turkey! We stayed in fig house, which fitted the three of us very well with a roaring log fire and comfy beds. Highlight was the... More

Perched above the charming village of Sirince, the Terrace Houses are an excellent choice when visiting Ephesus. Omer and Charlotte are welcoming and knowledgeable hosts – the best kind. They shared the history of their town with us over Charlotte’s delicious chocolate cake and elder flower cordial upon arrival, a very nice touch. Rooms/Apartments are set in 19th century stone... It’s only been five years since a paved road was built to the tiny village of Şirince, which is undoubtedly why it remains so perfectly preserved, despite its close proximity to Ephesus. The call for prayer is heard intermittently from the minaret as elderly women sell their pale bars of olive oil soap and old men stroll down cobbled streets... More

I stayed in the Fig House with my girlfriend during our stay with Omer and Charlotte at Terrace Houses. We were greeted with warm smiles, warm tea and warm chocolate cake too! I never felt so welcomed. Omer and Charlotte truly know hospitality and are genuinely good people that are running an exception Cafe and accommodation resort. The houses are... More
