Three nights in the Fig House in late April. Beautiful view, lovely house, helpful and gracious hosts. Also terrific food--daily breakfasts and two dinners with local wine and olive oil. Omer even helped me get homemade red pepper paste to take back home. We lit a fire every night as it got chilly. Definitely felt like we were coming home...

We stayed for a long weekend at end April in the grapevine house, enjoying our breakfasts and one of our dinners at the cafe. Our closest neighbor was a donkey! Kids had a great time- even with no tv- playing in the yard. We took it easy- some sightseeing, mostly lounging. Omer and Charlotte were lovely hosts.
We stayed for three days in the fig house and traveled to a number or ancient sites around Izmir.
Total we were in Turkey for 2 weeks and nowhere were our hosts more helpful, kind, welcoming and all around knowledgeable than in Sirince.
Omer, his wife Charlotte and Eysla were great.
The house was tastefully and comfortable decorated. It was...

We are a family with two children (8 and 14 years) and enjoyed four great and relaxing days in the Fig House. The old house with two floors has been beautifully and carefully restored and furnished with antiques; absolutely our style! It is located on the slope of a hill with a great view of the village and the surroundings....

If you want something a little different, then Terrace Houses in Sirince is the place for you. We stayed in Fig House behind the Terrace cafe, a beautifully restored village house with bags of character. Yes, the house is halfway up a hillside, and yes, you do have to drive 15 minutes up a mountain road to reach Sirince, and...

3 private houses perched atop the small village of Sirince, about 15 minutes from Ephesus. We rented the Olive House. Rustic charm, amazing views from the cafe terrace and the bedrooms, comfortable lodging, and a location convenient to the village (though you should note it is at the top of a hill). The owners' daughter (who was running the place...

I want to preface this by saying that the town and this lodging choice might be perfect for some people, but definitely not for us.
My new wife and I were on our honeymoon visiting several cities in Turkey. We had a big guided outting planned for Ephesus one morning, and decided to stay in the nearby town of Sirince....

The week we spent at the Terrace House (Fig House) was a wonderful experience. The renovated house is very well done and spacious. It has a garden and two sitting terraces where we sat and relaxed and admired the view over the village. Supplies are easily obtained either from the village or via mini buses (every 30min) to nearby Selcuk....

We recently stayed at Terrace Houses and cannot stop talking and thinking about it!
We were there with our 3 girls (6,12 and 15) and could not imagine finding such a marvelous place to stay abroad. We enjoyed every bit of it!! We even considered buying that other house just next to the place, in order to make sure we...
