We spent three days here on a two week tour of Southern Turkey in September. The setting is lovely amidst gardens and an olive grove that hold two terraced levels of buildings. There are several lounging areas, both inside and outside that make for great spots to sample the local wines and fruits. Our room was small, but nicely appointed,... More

The room was pretty good - and there was communal lounge as well for our separate house. The reception rooms are above average. The food in the restaurant was distinctly average, although the recommendation for one in the village the next night was excellent. Some of the staff were really good. But I think we were there in the off... More

We spent one day here. The people working at this B&B could not have been better. Super friendly and helpful. Their grounds are beautiful, with nice views from their garden lounge. We had both a breakfast and a dinner here.. both were very good. The dinner was a true fine dinning experience. The only problem was the room was not... More

My wife and I arrived after a flight into Izmir, where we rented a car and drove to Ephesus. It was a beautiful drive into the mountains and wine country around Sirince. The Gullu Konaklari was a real comfortable stay. The property was clean, the people nice, friendly and warm. Our bed was comfortable and cozy. The bath was clean... More

As part of a 5-week journey to Greece, Turkey and Jordan, I booked 4 nights at Gullu. Of particular note is the professionalism shown by Zeynep in Reception. She at all times was courteous and helpful. She even went out of her way to ensure that I made a quirky connection to the airport very early on the day of... More

If it were not for the dog next door barking all night for the two night we were there, it would have been perfect. The view is fabulous and you can enjoy it over breakfast and dinner. The meals are well prepared and the service is attentive. i would recommend eating dinner there as the places in town have no... More

When we arrived in Sirence my first reaction was Oh No! As it was overrun with tour busses. However once past the front gate of Gullu Konaklari you find yourself in a peaceful oasis of gardens with old Greek houses converted to a hotel. There is a lovely terrace with views over the surrounding hills where breakfast and dinner are... More

I will try to refrain from launching into metaphors from the Roman era discussing the love of nature, but Gullu Konaklari made for an idyllic place to stay in charming Sirince. Ephesus' proximity certainly adds to the Roman feel. In any case, we spent a lovely evening there and would highly recommend it to anyone. The hotel does an excellent... More

This lovely little inn is located in Sirince - a quaint village in the mountains about 25 minutes from Ephasus. The village itself is a bit too touristy for my taste - virtually every shop is selling either wine (and not especially good wine) or other tourist kitsche. But Gullu Konak seems so far removed from the touristy atmosphere. Its... More

Gullu Konaklari is located in the little village of Sirince - about a 10 minute drive up a winding road (some switchbacks) from Selcuk. It was an ideal place to stay while exploring Ephesus. As other reviewers have said - finding it requires driving slowly along the main street (warning very narrow in places) and asking people - you will... More
