I spent a lot of nights at the hotel for taking pictures in winter, spring and summer seasons. The best thing is the location. But you need to get ready before you'll stay there: 1. Best location in Rostov. Located inside the old Kremlin. I reccomend the wooden section of the Hotel. The rooms were originaly used by metropolitain bishops. Hotel isn't referenced on booking.com so you need to search for there site using google and call. Only the most basic ammenities. If you want a hotel with western 3 star standards then DO NOT... Tired accommodation that needs renovation. Bathroom drains had bad odor- had to close door to keep smell out of room. Wifi signal weak and unusable most of time. Can hear other guests opening doors and walking down hallway to use communal bathrooms. Staff nice, but no concept of service. Cash only, nobody speaks a word of English. No food- Dinner... More

Located inside an old monastery surrounded by cathedrals and high walls, this is a very special place to say. Nice and huge rooms with high ceilings and lots of old woodwork makes this a special experience.
