This is a lovely hotel, hidden away from the hustle and bustle in the woods on the outskirts of Heemskerk. A lovely place to stay for exploring the area and very practical as a base for visiting Amsterdam. The restaurant I cannot comment on - we didn't use it at all. The rooms are of a good size, atypical design... More

We came from Japan. The hotel which there is in a quiet forest. The meal at the restaurant of the castle is satisfied very much. It is easy to spend a room and does not have any problem. Thank you very much.

Near the beach, great nature, the rooms were light and new. I can only recommend you to visit the Hotel. The Breakfast was also very good. The Castle 500 meters away is a perfect place to have dinner also.

This small hotel is situated in a green, quiet location that is suitable for anyone who likes beauty and quietness. The grounds are wonderful for walking and simply enjoying the beauty of nature. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. The only two drawbacks were the high cost of breakfast which... More

Im an international traveller, this hotel I would think is more focused for local country travelers as a weekend retreat or short vacation. Area surroundings are great and very beautiful. The hotel is very outdated. We had tons of spider webs all over the place.

Many thanks for a relaxing stay with delightful Dutch people. We will be back. Very good breakfasts and easy staff attitudes. Nothing too much trouble, although some guests seemed upset that the bar was not always available due to staff sickness. Well handled by staff. Evening meals not always available due to functions in the Chateau taking precedence, but lots... More

This hotel is located a few km away from Castricum in a very nice wooden area. From there, you can walk in less than 10 min to reach the very nice little village of Heemskerk. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was quite clean. My bed mattress was too soft or too old. BK was fantastic. Their WiFi log-in... More

Pros: NH Marquette is definitely all about location - Perfectly situated next to the town center of Heemskerk, this beautiful and quiet hotel offers plenty of options for running, cycling and many other outdoor activities. The options at breakfast are plentiful, and everything tastes amazing. Cons: Some of the rooms are really on the small side, so make sure you... More

Last month I was with my family for a Turkish engagement party at NH Marquette Hotel in Holland. I had my doubts about celebrating al Turkish feast in Holland according to Turkish culture rules and traditions. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive Turkish hospitality beyond my expectations in that old castle dating back to 1200. There was one gentleman... More

We did not stay at the hotel but had a high tea at the castle next to it. A wonderful place with lovely finger food. The staff is very nice and makes you feel welcome. The castle is beautiful and with nice weather they have a terrace with a nice view and a tinkling fountain.
